Seventy-two.

That was the number of sorts of tea that Bel had left behind in his cabin, declaring that it really didn't think the collection was important enough to warrant an extra case, and that Miles could consider them a goodbye-present, if he so desired.

'A last chance to expand your tastes a little', Bel had joked.

Miles had grinned, because he'd be damned if he'd do something un-Naismithian at that moment. Last impressions could be at least as important as first ones, after all. Perhaps they were even more so, because people might keep them for the rest of their lives.

So ... a light-hearted farewell, without regrets or hard feelings.

And seventy-two blends of tea for Admiral Naismith to taste.
