Lost Love
By Misha

Disclaimer- The characters of Charmed belong to Aaron Spelling and The WB, I donÕt own them. Honestly do you think if I owned them Andy would have died? No, so donÕt sue me.

Author's Notes- This is set after the season premiere, I still have issues to deal with and this is the least violent way of doing it. I'm a Prue/Andy fan, so I'm going to be writing a few stories dealing wit his death. Okay, a lot. I need closure.

Spoilers- The season Premiere.

Prue parked her car on the road near the cemetery. She got out and walked towards Andy's grave, carrying some roses to lay there for him.

She knelt in front of his grave, and traced the words engraved there with her finger. She closed her eyes and conjured up a picture of him.

She smiled sadly remembering the last time she had seen him alive At least she had gotten to tell him she loved him, to be able to say what she never had before.

She meant those words with everything in her. She loved Andy as she never loved anyone else, and now he was gone.

She wondered if things would have been different if she hadn't been a witch, and in her heart she knew they would have been. She and Andy probably would have met again, started dating just like they did, but if things had been different she could have seen them actually have a real future. Marriage and children.

Instead she got him killed, it may not have been her fault, but it was her world.

"I love you." She whispered to the darkness, knowing that somewhere he could hear her.

"He loved you too." A voice behind her said, Prue turned around to see Darryl there.

"How long have you been there?" She asked.

"Long enough." He answered. "Prue, he loved you. He went to your house because he needed to, I don't know what happened there, but I do know it wasn't your fault."

Prue looked down at the ground. "I know, it's just so hard." She looked up at him. "I've lovedhim since I was 13, maybe longer, and I only ever told him that once. The day he died."

"I'm sorry." Darryl said softly, a little surprised. He knew that they had dated in high school, Andy had told him once, but he had never thought it had been that long. No wonder this was hitting her so hard. He had been her first love.

"Thank you. You know what the hardest part is?" Prue asked carefully, Darryl shook his head. "I keep imagining what would have happened if things had been different. When Andy moved back to San Francisco my sister's and I were caught up in something, and I couldn't tell then anyway. Even when I did tell him, it took him a long time to understand. It was only that day that it seemed as if we had a chance. But if that complication never existed I'd still be with him now."

Darryl put his arms around her. "I'm sorry Prue." He said quietly, trying to comfort her.

"I know." She whispered before pulling away, she knelt by the grave once more and kissed the headstone.

Then she straightened. "Goodbye Darryl." She said softly, walking to her car.

Darryl watched her go, wishing there was something he could do for her. But how could he make the sting of a lost love go away?

The End
