æ Kagome, Kagome æ
I'm a caged bird,
With white-clipped wings...
There's a lock-and-key on,
And many toy things...
The bird feed sits alone,
Up high in a tray...
The decorations played with first,
When you thought me a stray...
I'd like to think I could be free,
But really I'm dreaming...
Kagome, Kagome,
Is what I'll be singing...
I sit day and night,
You don't see my tears...
I'm cold and deprived,
Huddled from fears...
As the moonlight shines down,
My soul becomes scarred...
Cause I'm a caged bird,
And my soul is charred...
