Oh my God! It's full of stars!

Buffy woke with a start, her Slayer senses warning her that she was not alone in her room. She sat bolt upright, her eyes fixed on the tall black slab that was standing at the far end of her bed.

Although it was just sanding there, it seemed to radiate intelligence and purpose unlike anything Buffy had ever encountered. Sitting up in bed, she reached out and touched its smother surface with one hand, and the universe opened up and enveloped her in a bright flash of light.

The light faded, and the being that was once Buffy Summer smiled.
