In all fairness the mission had gone on longer than SG1 had anticipated. Jack rooted through Carter’s knapsack, claiming hunger and CO rights as an excuse. Then he discovered a ‘suspect package’.
“What’s this?” He demanded, holding up a cardboard tube for inspection.
Sam looked innocent. “Rations.”
“Cakes don’t qualify as rations.”
“Why not? Calories equal energy. Anyway they’re not strictly cakes.”
“Yes they are.”
“No, they’re more of a biscuit.”
Jack removed one of the items in contention. “It’s cake; it has sponge.”
“I demand a second opinion.”
“Fine. Daniel is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit?”
