Wrong Choice Baka

"Kagome? Is that Sesshomaru?" Sango asked walking up and looking at him. He glared and she gulped. Kagome kissed his cheek and nodded.

"He's my mate. He rescued me. Sesshomaru, that's Sango. She's my best friend." She said looking directly at Inuyasha with laughing eyes. He looked like he was about to cry. "I'm happy now. I'll come visit you three. Cause you all remembered me."

"Get your stuff." He growled and she nodded. Kikyo tossed her her bag and she grinned. Kikyo cocked an eyebrow and then Kagome unsheathed a sword and stabbed her. She screamed and Sesshomaru blocked Inuyasha from running.

Sango and the others smiled, they hated Kikyo as well, they were just scared to hurt her, and cause Inuyasha would kill them! "Stupid. The dead should stay that way." She slung her bag over her shoulder and walked back to Sesshomaru.

"Bye Inuyasha. I'll see you three later. Ja!" She wrapped her arms around Sesshomaru's neck and they took off. Inuyasha's jaw dropped and he fell to his knees. He'd never meant to hurt her… To hurt Kagome…

Now the two people he cared for the most were gone. He knew Sango, Miroku, and Shippo hated him, so now…. Now he was all alone. Tears welled in the corners of his eyes.

Miroku then spoke, "She has every right to despise you.. .As do we. She's happy, that is all that matters. We are going to tell Lady Kaede. See you later." Then they walked off and Inuyasha cried.

Kagome moaned as slid down the wall. Sesshomaru kissed her neck. They were both happy. Jobs were done, they were together… "Sesshomaru… As long as were being honest… From the first time I saw you, I had a crush on you."

"As did I on you. You were brave and smart. A bit of a pest-" She laughed. "But nonetheless, I liked you. And I despise most humans. Kagome… I love you." She had never heard these words before. EVER!

And as she took it all in, she realized, she never needed Inuyasha to watch over her. To help her, to protect her. She was stronger than he was, and he needed her. She chose whom she loved and it was Sesshomaru.

"But I'll die before you even age."
"That's why we shall gather the Shikon jewel and fix it, to make you a half demon. I killed Naraku. And now we only have some weak competition. Your three friends can help, if you would like."

"Oh Sesshomaru! Thank you so much! I love you too." It was a beautiful beginning…. And she knew there was more to come in the near future. She kissed him deeply and passioneltly… He was the best she ever had…
