My first attempt on a D. N. Angel fic. It’s SatDai so obviously it’s shounen-ai. Please be kind and don’t kill me if you don’t like the pairing.

He knew that it was wrong. His mother, Rio told him so. He wasn’t supposed to allowed to fall in love. Just like so many before him.

It was forbidden, never to be accepted.

His life was all planned out, made before he was even born. He was to train hard and graduate college at an early age, making his family proud. And after that he would capture Dark without problems and live happy life without the damned curse hovering over him.

But almost nothing fell into plan with the exception of the graduating part. That he could do with ease. But he wasn't able to make his family proud by his many accomplishments. Their deaths have seen to that. He was not able to capture Dark and live a happy life without the Hikari curse hovering over his head.

And falling in love with Niwa was certainly not part of the plan.

Niwa with his eye-catching hair and his large innocent eyes was just plain irresistible. No normal even abnormal person could not fall in love.

Satoshi, being in the abnormal category, was not exempted.

Fate was truly a cruel witch.

Making such a beautiful angel his enemy.

Such a pure and naïve angel should stay the way he is. He should not experience the chaos that happens round them day by day. Niwa should be alongside Riku Harada like he was destined to be. Not fighting against Krad. Nor should he be sharing his body with the legendary kaitou Dark. He was not supposed to be Satoshi’s lover and enemy.

And the Hikari knew that one day; one of them has to die at the hands of the other. He knew Niwa would stop Dark before he even came close to killing him. The goodness in his heart would prove to be a worthy foe for the legendary thief. And he also knew that the demon inside him would not hesitate to kill his angel.

But right now as Satoshi laid on his bed, Niwa snuggled beside him. He knew even just for a moment, he can forget everything except the little angel he had as his lover.

Yeah, I know it was pretty short but I wrote it in twenty minutes during my lunch break. It’s suppose to be a graduation gift for myself for passing elementary and moving up to high school, but my friend whom shall remain anonymous said it was sweet so here it is.
