Mistaken Identity VII

Buffy heard the sword-blows three streets away, and sprinted along the road to see one stranger decapitate another, shouting "There can be only one!"

"Drop the sword," shouted a nearby bobby. The murderer ignored him, ignored the bolts of lightning that radiated from the corpse and shattered the windows of the surrounding shops. A chunk of wood flying from the explosion knocked out the policeman.

"Frelling demons," said Buffy, drawing her scythe.

Superlative skill was unfortunately no match for Slayer speed and reflexes. The Watchers sadly note that the last words attributable to Methos are "Now that's just cheat..."
