The G i r l at the Rock S h o w
one year anniversary story of - y a k o s u k o –

Revised Note:
Okay. This had a ton of errors. And I wanted to just forget about it but I constantly get IMS and e-mails about me updating. Since there was such a demand I decided, well, if they want it that bad they’re going to have to re-read it while I fix it. ( It’s better now, promise. Oh, and the story starts out quite light hearted but in later chapters… it’s very… not… lighthearted. Substance abuse, physical abuse, prostitution… you name it and it’s probably there. I never promised anyone a rose garden. Hehe.

Original Forward Note:
I was listening to my old Blink 182 CD and I heard, “The Rock Show” and I was like, “WHOA!” and, “What if Kairi was the girl at the rock show?” So I started thinking about it and thought it’d be a pretty funny story. So, lo-and-behold, here I am, March 10th, writing it.

Disclaimer:
I do not own Kingdom Hearts, the internet, Final Fantasy or a car.

The P r o l o g u e
Kupo
T i c k e t D a y

Three days, twelve hours, thirty-two minutes, and seven… eight… no, nine seconds have brought him here, the very front of the line to get tickets for the “best concert of the summer”. And he would’ve never guessed he’d be here either, just could not imagine himself listening to Kupo in his life.

Selphie was actually the one who told them all about Kupo; she didn’t necessarily like, or even listen to them, she is just obsessed with Moogles and anything associated with them... it’s actually rather scary. So as Sora leaned against the pale white wall that was now his only anchor to life as he knew it, he remembered how exactly he had got there, and why on earth he was still going along with it...

She was running around our school talking about the “concert of the year“, no-one paid mind to her, as usual, and Tidus and Sora would nod their heads and smile, she’s 16 and still doesn’t know that they normally don't listen to her or just plain-out ignore her. But that day something rather odd happened. Cloud, the jock-and-ruler of the school stopped to talk with Selphie and he took one of her flyers that she was distributing. Seeing this brief moment of interaction between Selphie and Cloud every other girl ran her direction and took a handful of her precious papers. With her sudden five minutes of fame, Selphie squealed and danced around the, now barren, hall.

Tidus and Sora stood laughing at her crazy antics. However, she could have showed up to school in a banana suit and Tidus would still be head-over-heels in love with her and Sora could tell. The laughter dying down, Sora could see Tidus talking with her. She eagerly handed Tidus a flyer and walked over to Sora and handed him one followed by a smile as she darted off to her class to be inevitably late.

What was that about, Tidus?” Sora yelled at him after Selphie was a good distance away. He knew what he had just seen. Tidus agreed he and Sora would go to this so-called ‘concert’ as an excuse for Tidus to spend the summer with the sugar-hyped girl.

He actually expected Sora to come?

Oh C’mon, Sora! It wont hurt you to have a little fun this summer! It’s just a concert! Girls will be there and it’s near a beach! And I am NOT going alone, so you’re gonna go with me!”

Sora looked at him and signed in defeat. Musing he figured at best it could get him out of the house, therefore no chores or creepy girls stalking him. In reality Sora didn’t actually remember why he agreed... the point being that he did.

He agreed to go to the most annoying concert in Spira on his own free will.

He could remember he wanted to throw-up but resisted the urge.

Sora mentally reminded himself to kill Tidus. He decided on a slow death for him, a painful one and oh how sweet it would be...

“Wake-up!” Tidus shoved Sora into the wall in front of him. However, this was no ordinary wall; this was the wall he and the other 1,876,294,525,568,951,244.5 people had waited to get to, some on their freewill doing so, others, like Sora, clawing to get away.

“Sheesh!” Sora leaned against the wall and rubbed his face coming out of another daydream. He looked behind Tidus and there stood Selphie, fingers laced within her own grasp, arms lying in front of her, she looked like such a little angel, a perfect little girl. Sora started laughing mentally, ‘Selphie?’ He thought, ‘A good little girl? Nah.’

The three friends looked at the little window in the wall. Rumors said that there was a ticket man that actually showed up when he was supposed to. That was back in the thirties though.

Sora scoffed, “I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU TALKED ME INTO THIS!”

Selphie looked in his direction and smiled a little grin. Tidus shoved Sora forward to distract him, “Hey- we’re doing this for Selphie.”

You are doing this to be with Selphie.”

“Liar!”

Sora smirked
