Well…I saw the Ring 2 today…it was more sad than scary. Almost like a horrific Mother’s Day film or something. I feel sorry for Samara since…well…both of her mothers were kinda weird (the first was naturally, the second was turned psycho)…and the whole thing with her stalking Rachel just to have a new mother…well, I suppose that’s what inspired me to post this. I wrote it awhile ago…and now it finally has a purpose! Whoo! Samara’s the narrator, if you didn’t know, lol…
Disclaimer: I don’t own the Ring or its characters. The poem is mine though.
Do you know
Why I cry?
I'm missing you
And your lullaby
Sing to me
Your silent song
Tell me of the place
Where I belong
How long have you been gone?
A day? A week? I cannot tell.
I'm lost in the cold.
I'm lost in this hell.
Sing to me
Your silent song
Of peace and love.
Tell me where you've gone.
I miss the nights
When you whispered to me
That you'd protect me
And all my little dreams
Oh, sing to me
Your silent lullaby
Tell me again why I'm alone
Where can I cry?
Sing to me now
Your silent lullaby
Oh mother dearest
Sing your lullaby
