I don't own them!

Row of 0's are breaks between paragraphs!

Harper's Destiny-

Harper leaned over the bar as a tall women walked provocatively to the bar. She slid on the stool and gazed at Harper. Grinning a crooked smile, he said, "What can I get for you?"

She smiled and said, "Whiskey." Harper, without taking his eyes off of her, popped the cork off of a bottle. He tipped it over into the mug sitting next to her.

She watched him with adoring eyes and said, "So, what's your name?"

"Seamus Harper."

"Well, Seamus, I have to go. But I'll come back tonight."

"Can't wait till then babe. But wait, what's your name?" he shouted after her. She smiled, then walked to the door. Just before she left the bar, she turned around and said, "Cassandra."

Harper watched her walk away. Doyle walked in the bar a minute later and sat were Cassandra was sitting. She waved her hand in his face and said, "Harper, you zoned out?"

He stopped staring and looked at the blonde android in front of him. "What happened? You were supposed to meet me at the lab! Remember, I'm going to help Dylan today on the Andromeda."

Harper flinched as she said this. The way she said Dylan broke his heart. It was so obvious that Doyle loved Dylan, just as Rommie had. Almost every time he made an android, they always seemed to like the 'head' figure instead of him. It did seem, before she blew up, the android of Rommie did like him. But the ship was undeniable in love with Dylan.

Once, in his distant past, he had made an android based on the slave's ship's AI. She had adored him. Harper stopped thinking about the past, because he knew that would bring back memories, good and bad, and mixed feelings.

He poured himself a glass, and gulped it down. Doyle distractedly said she was going. She didn't notice that Harper was looking at her with sad eyes, and watched sadly after her.

How many times had he considered the act of suicide? Too many times to count. But before, people had always been there for him. But now, no one seemed to care about him. Hardly anyone was in the pub now. Then, he remembered the lady, Cassandra. He sat himself down for a long night until she would come.

The moonlight from outside drifted into the open bar door. There was one man drifting off to sleep as he sipped on his mug. Harper sat on the bartender's side of the bar. He had the almost empty bottle of whiskey in his hand. He slowly sipped at it. He stared into space, thinking.

Cassandra slipped into the room. (The guy sitting at the table had fainted.) Cassandra stalked up to Harper. She coughed as he noticed her. He stood up.

She smiled, a smile lovelier than Beka's, Doyle's, Rommie's, and even Trance's. He didn't even like Beka like that, and Sandra's smile surpassed them all.

He thought of Beka as a loving mother. The 1st time he had saw her, he had looked at her like that, but over the time she had took care of him like the mother he had lost.

Sandra scooted onto the stool. Harper leaned over the bar, his eyes glittering like a new-born star. Cassandra leaned over the bar and they kissed.

She was almost swept of her feet. This was The Kiss, the best she had ever had. She would have never broke off, but he pulled away. She could almost see the sparks sprinting between them.

He looked deep into her eyes, and could swear there was something not human about her. But that moment of hesitation passed, and they found themselves back in each other's arms.

She snuggled closer to him. She then pulled up, but still kept in his arms. That smile was a true smile planted on his shining face. There was a trace of his 'famous' half/lopsided smile. But there was a deep smile hid, hardly seen by anyone.

She blinked away the tears forming in her eyes. "I have to go... Our time will come...soon ('sooner than you think'). I will come back in a few days. I would love to meet your friends, and get a bit closer to you."

She winked at him then kissed him, one more time. She pulled away, waved good-bye, then disappeared in the shadows. Harper sighed, then poured himself a drink. He picked up his mug, and walked outside.

He slammed his back on the wall and looked out in the stars. The Divine was playing tricks with him. But he didn't mind. Not tonight, not after THAT kiss. He silently thanked the Divine.

Dylan walked into the Bar. His (ex) crew was sitting at a large circular table. They were all playing cards. There were extra people at the table, though.

They had all suddenly popped up boyfriends/girlfriends! Beka had a guy fondling her waist. The same with Rhade, Trance, even Doyle. A girl looked up from examining the table.

She laughed, then put Dylan into a giant bear hug. Dylan, a bit overwhelmed, pulled himself out of the tight hug. He looked questioningly at the others. Doyle spoke up.

"We have... Dates, Dylan." The guy around Beka's hip looked up from the game, and said, "Me and my friends were discussing, and we agreed to go on a...formal date." Beka looked up, and nearly burst out laughing at Dylan's confusion.

"We are having dinner on the Andromeda with our... blind dates. We met today, while you were on the Andromeda. They're kind are interested in the Andromeda. They want to have a closer look. With them, their representatives will also accompany us. She's yours." Beka shrugged.

The girl gave Dylan another hug, lighter this time. Dylan unhooked himself from her, as Harper and another girl walked out from the 'cellar'. Harper refilled everyone's glasses. They toasted tonight. And what a night it would turn out to be.

Trance pulled at her hair until it sat in the position she wanted. She wasn't concentrating on her date standing next to her, she was watching her friends and there dates.

She turned to hers, and took a deep breath. He was tall, expressionless, and had bulging muscles. She hadn't even seen him smile yet.

She fidgeted in her chair at the large formal table on the Andromeda. As she sipped at her wine, her date, what was his name? Joe, Jason? No, it was... Harold. Yes, Harold, was trying to strike up a conversation with her.

He jabbered and mumbled about how big and beautiful the Andromeda was, the weather, the regular conversation pieces.

Her eyes left her glass and wondered over to the person walking in. Rhade was slumping in with a girl who was giggling the whole way to the table.

People were arriving, and Trance could not care about her date more. Harold tapped her on the shoulder as she watched Rhade sit down. Why could she not tear herself away from Rhade's butt? She glanced up, and locked into Harold's eyes.

He sadly said that he had to go make a 'call'. She couldn't help but think there was something not human lurking behind those stern, black eyes. She turned her eyes back to Rhade, and heard her date mutter into his comm,

"Nope, not a Chosen. I'll stick around to back-up anyone else who finds a Chosen. Harold Out."

He sat back down, and glanced around the room, no longer caring about his date.

But Trance had not processed a word of what he had said. She was busy thinking, 'Why am I staring at Rhade? Of the crew, he would be the LAST I would look at (besides the girls, of course). Something's toying with my mind...'

Her thoughts were interrupted when the rest came in, and Andromeda said, 'Dinner is now ready. Please sit at you appropriate places.' The representatives took their places near the top with Dylan and his date... Martha.

There was much small talk till the droids brought the main dishes. Trance's eyes wandered from Dylan to Harper. She starred in disbelief and jealousy as his date... Cassandra sat giggling at his jokes.

She was staring intently at him, while his eyes sparkled with...love.

Trance's heart broke, and she just stared at them. They looked so... comfortable with each other, such a good couple.

She found herself sobbing. She shook herself and started up a conversation with her date. He seemed un-interested all of the sudden.

He looked around, then looked at her as she talked. His eyes were glazed over. Trance still had that feeling of being watched by a non-human being. She tore her eyes away, and gulped down the rest of her drink.

As she sat there, she thought of the probabilities of the outcome of this. But she could not see anything. SOMETHING was blurring her 'vision'.

Mysterious, no! I hope you like it. I'm already in the process of writing the next chapter, so I hope you like it! Please, review. I hope the formatting is ok! Also, I hope you read my other ones!
