Summary- When Harper thinks he has lost everyone in his past, he runs into an old friend. Things heat up a bit. And why is Trance jealous and a bit angry?

Special thanks and recognition to all of the people who have written fan-fics. I love the stories I have read. Thanks to the Trance's Harper Addiction and Trance and Harper World websites. (Altough both are out of commission!) Through your fan-fics, you guys have given me motivations, and kept my imagination running.

Row of 0's are breaks between paragraphs!

Harper's Past-

Beka shivered as the panic seized her. She swatted her damp, blonde hair out of her out-of- focus eyes. The white-glazed cover over her eyes was starting to ware off.

A whole fleet of enemy vessels was coming straight for the Andromeda. She heard someone try to come through the control room doors. She turned around and smiled. She had jammed the doors. She was alone in command.

As she looked up at the monitor, she saw no sign of any vessels at all. She shook her head. She must be hallucinating. That was a side-effect of the drug. She felt the old yearning for the power. The addiction of the medication.

She was taking medication, she had convinced herself. She reached out for her clear, almost empty bottle. She brought the dropper, full of Flash, up to her eyes, and applied a new coat. She could almost feel the new, white cover spread on her eyes. Flash.

She had cracked. This was the first bottle she had made and taken. She had made a less-toxic Flash. Usually, if someone took 1 whole bottle, they would be in a serious situation.

With hers, she would have to take more then 1 bottle to be in a real-life or death condition. Most of the bottles were in the hospital deck and her room. This was her last bottle with her.

She heard the door open as she crumpled to the floor. She clamped the empty bottle in her hand. She felt someone grab her as she fell to the floor. She looked up into a familiar face. A dirty-blonde boy was looking back at her with concerned eyes.

"It's ok Boss, I got you." Harper said. She knew he could see her eyes. Knew that he would know that she was using Flash. She was afraid he would tell Dylan.

As if to read her mind, Dylan walked into the control room. Harper turned her head down. She was now looking at his perfect abs. Wait, she must really be hallucinating. Harper was like a son to her.

She then understood what he was doing. He was shielding her eyes so Dylan couldn't see them. Or the Flash on top of them.

She could hear Dylan's voice, "What were you doing Beka! What were you thinking!" He sounded angry and pissed off. She tried to say "It's nothing." but Harper interrupted her.

"She didn't know what she was doing." he lied. "I didn't want to say anything,"..Beka thought desperately "Don't tell him please!"..."but she has been very..sick.. lately." he finished." Let me get her to her room."

Harper picked her up and draped her over his arms. He then carried her out of the control room. She broke down crying in his arms. She was surprised that he could carry her weight.

He walked to her room, then laid her on her bed. He bent over her and pushed her hair out of her now- clearing eyes.

He kissed her quickly on the cheek. He turned to leave. "Seamus, thanks for... everything. Thanks for not telling Dylan."

He turned around and smiled "Sure. Anything Boss."

"Call me Beka."

He smiled, then said, "Get some rest. I'll send Trance to check up on you. Beka, listen to me, DON'T use any more Flash, please?" And he left the room.

Beka tossed and turned. Her hallucinations were slowly egging away. She hadn't taken any more of the Flash, just as she had promised Harper. She laid there and stared at the ceiling.

She got up and left her room. She started walking to the command deck. Trance quietly slipped up to Beka.

"You should be resting."

"I'm ok, Trance." Beka walked on.

Suddenly, the ship lurched forward. Beka and Trance grabbed on to the pole near the command door. The door swung open, and Trance and Beka ran into the room.

Tyr cursed as he guided a slip fighter out to attack the ship that was attacking them. Dylan muttered under his breath as he looked on the attackers.

Hi! I know, the title says it's about Harper, but all we have seen is Beka. It will become his story, so be patient. JJ-SOOOOOOOOORY for the formatting there was a mistake! PLEEEEEAAAASE don't hurt me! Hopefully, if you liked it, I will write more. OR, in the mean time, you can read my other ones!
