Harper's Past-Chapter 2

If you are reading this, Thanxz for reading my story! It's good to know that you like my story enough to read the second chapter! Whoops, Oops! SORRY! I seem to have contracted a disease that makes me say centimental 'stuff'! JJ Enjoy:

Beka screamed as she bolted up in her bed. She was still shaking from the dream she had. She was disturbed that she was dreaming about taking Flash.

She shook her head. She had a killer headache.

Andromeda's hologram appeared at the end of her bed. "Beka, are you alright? You have an elevated heart beat, and your sweating."

"Boy, aren't you the observant." Beka mumbled under her breath. She spoke up and said," I'm fine. Really! Just a bad dream."

Andromeda winked out, and Beka let out her breath. She was too shaken to go back to bed, so she got up and went to take a shower. She only had taken off her shirt before the voice ripped through the comm.

"All hands to battle stations, NOW!" Dylan's even voice boomed.

Beka put back on her shirt as she ran to the command deck. She couldn't stop thinking of her dream, where they had been attacked by an unknown force.

Beka ran onto the deck, and her worst fears were confirmed. Andromeda was informing Dylan of what was happening.

"I have no idea who is attacking us. All my sensors can pick up is this. Something in this system is going planet to planet and blowing them up. Escape pods are all over the place, trying to escape. 'It' seems to affect the pods, as they are losing air, fast. Dylan, we are getting millions of distress calls from the escape pods, plus old messages not sent out yet, from the planets. It seems they departed right before all the planets in this system exploded."

"All the planets exploded!" Beka cried out, still disorented from her dream. Rommie put on some of the distress calls she was getting.

"Help! Running low on air!" Rommie kept flicking through the distress calls. Then she looked up and said, "I found one signal that's clear."

She pressed a button and then a girl's voice broke through the barrier. The static cleared up. Dylan said "I'm Captain Dylan Hunt of the Andromeda Accendent."

The women replied, "We need help, as soon as possible. Please! Our air is not gone, but the others is!"

"What happened?" Dylan waited impatiently. There was only static.

"Rommie, what happened?"

"The communications on all of the escape pods have gone dead. The pod we just heard from is the closest. I will attempt to pick them up.

Harper looked very distant. "How long will it be till we get there?" Dylan asked Andromeda.

"I'm not sure. I can send bucket cables out, but I'm not sure how long it will be until we get them. At least some of the pods still have air, and will till we get there."

Dylan headed for the docking port. He didn't notice that Harper was following.

Hi! Ow, dangerous! It starts to get Harper-ish next chapter, I promise! Hope you liked it!
