Authorities never got the full story out of the Others. Clyde was put in prison, where he was interrogated until he revealed the location of the island, where the rest of the Others had control over whether or not the island was to be visible by satellites. The island had always been there physically, but not always technically.

The Others on the island were captured and taken to prison after a long trial. Even after the trial, questions about them were still unanswered. All were sentenced to life in prison.

Thomas never bothered Claire and Charlie again. He didn't insist that he get visitation rights of Aaron, either. He simply told Claire that when the time was right, Aaron could choose to seem him if he liked.

Charlie and Claire promised each other that they would tell Aaron when he was older about his real father, and not keep him in the dark.

Charlie had a trial for shooting Clyde, but was not sentenced when he pleaded that he was defending his family and when authorities learned more about who Clyde was. He was only fined a few hundred dollars, which was better than being separated from Claire and Aaron.

Soon after the incident, Claire and Charlie married and invited everyone from the island to the wedding, where she became Claire Pace.

A few months later, all the survivors got a similar invitation, but to a baby shower.

The baby turned out to be a girl, who they named Lily. She had Claire's hair, nose, and eyes but the rest of Charlie's face. Needless to say, Lily turned out to be a beautiful baby.

Charlie later found out that the reason Liam was gone when he was leaving to help Claire was because Liam was in Northern England, talking to his former DriveSHAFT band mates. Charlie received a phone call from Liam later on after the incident. Liam wanted to start DriveSHAFT back up.

Charlie agreed, but only if the band stayed local. He made Liam swear to keep off the drugs.

DriveSHAFT was then reunited and went on a returning tour around England. Claire, Lily, and Aaron came as well.

Charlie never put the band first. DriveSHAFT wasn't how it used to be at all, and that was good. He enjoyed the small band, because his family was more important than fame or fortune.

But thanks to the fortune part, he was able to afford a comfortable house, closer to Liam's, but still close to Newcastle for Claire.

Soon enough, Charlie and Claire began to stop thinking about the mistakes they made and live for what was happening at the present time.

But they never let themselves forget. Everything they had done led them to who they were now. And who they were now was pretty damn wonderful.
