Dear Readers, Ashley here. Just letting you know that I'm going to be updating The Awakening, both in an effort to keep it on the front page and because their are some things I want to clarify, among this I want to beef up Catty, Nathan, Mattox "who for some reason became 'Maddox' by the end, sorry for that" Meikah, Ben, and Jack's characters up a notch. So I'm going through the chapters, modifying and clarifying, all in all making the story longer.

If you've read the story, it's not absolutely pivotal, since most will be reiterated in later stories, but if your a fan of my fanfiction, then feel free to reminice of our dear sweet Sasha's first big adventure, and don't forget to read "Angel" "which, I will admit now, is margionally harder to write" which is the second book in the Darkside series "I've also realized I never gave an explaination about that title, i'll add that too" so enjoy the update, and feel free to put any suggestions for things you want more understanding of in either my forum "click my screen name then go to forums" or in the reviews, or you can just flat out e-mail me.

I'm glad so many of you liked this, and I want to continue on with this group as long as I have the patients for it. I may jump around in ages once I just want to get to the point, so just keep a heads up, i'll more than likely add that in the very first chapter of every story that I do any major jump in. Otherwise, if I don't put any time frame after the last story, assume it happens directly after the previous one ended, of course, you know what they say about assuming...

p.s., for those of you who have just found this, i'll give you a cheat sheet below about the characters, or at least the daughters, and the books. Plus a little summary for all the books I've come up with so far. Sorry if you get disapointed by the dates I plan to release them.

Sasha - Daughter of Serena and Stanton. After her mother left to be with "the others" Sasha was raised in the increasingly dark world of the Atrox. She has both follower and daughter sides in her and can't always control which side dominates. She has the power of Empathy and can feel peoples emotions, change there emotions, use others powers, and most importantly, she can restore hope. Though ever the oxymoron, she can also take it away.

Jenna - After Morgan fully fell to the Atrox after it wasreleased as a human the third time, Morgan fell in love with a human named Shawn shortly before going entirely into the Atrox's sway. But before that, she had a daughter, Jenna, who due to Morgan's rank, befriended Sasha. Morgan left Jenna shortly after she and Sasha became friends, Morgan hasn't been heard from since. Jenna, however, has a demanding personality who constantly draws attention to herself. She began as an attention craver due to blaming herself for her mom leaving them. But now she just likes to be center of attention. Jenna is the most outgoing and lively of the new group, and a stark contrast to Sasha's subdued personality. Jenna's power is glamour, which makes it so she can change into the appearance of any human she can imagine. This is partly why even in appearance, Jenna stands out.

Olivia - Olivia always wants to fit in. Her sister Hallie did, so she feels the direct need to follow Hallie's lead. Hallie was a Daughter too, with the power of Telepathy, but hasn't been seen since she was 17. Olivia is certain Hallie made the choice to move on, which is partly why she is so adamant to let go of her powers and memory of what she was. Another is that she had felt a void in her that she thought could be filled by having friends, but wasn't fully closed until she became, truly, a Daughter. Olivia's power is to walk through walls. She likes to show off with it a bit, but uses it best when its necessary.

Meikah - As an African-American teenager, Meikah doesn't really want to stand out. With her brother's secret, which she had kept for so long, its no wonder she doesn't want to draw attention to herself. She is strong willed and a very creative thinker, and can remain calm in a crisis moreso than any of the other daughters. She is also very good at getting out of the crisis, whatever it may be, when she puts her mind to it. Her power is to freeze time, a convenient power when in a pinch.

They all have a connection, one way or another, to there destiny, they all have a darkside, more so than any daughter before them, but the question is, can they overcome it?

Book 1: The Awakening - Sasha, daughter of Serena and Stanton, was born both follower and daughter. In an age where the Atrox reigns, she stands as the heir to the throne of the Atrox and the only one who can revive the daughters.

Book 2: Angel - Olivia doesn't know what she wants to become. But when a seemingly perfect guy comes around, a guy who shows her truths as she's never seen them before, she is at a crossroads on whether she should leave the daughters forever.

Book 3 "Coming in April" Doublecross - Meikah has guarded her beloved brothers secret for as long as she's known. But how far would she go to protect it?

Book 4 "Coming in June I hope" Dopleganger - Jenna has never shown who she truly was on the outside. She has always hidden it. But when she realizes that her mother has been sighted, will she drop her guard and let down the Daughters completely?

Book 5 "Coming by September" Generation - Ben loves Sasha, he really does, but instinct is causing him to want to destroy her. He has no idea where to go or where to turn, and when he feels he has to let her go, can he avoid the temptation not to feel that pain anymore through the Atrox?

Book 6 Birthright "Coming sometime in 2006 'more than likely'" - The world is on the brink of war, and they don't even know it yet. Sasha knows which side to fight on, but does she know the side she needs to fight with? When that means facing her worst fear, she has to make the ultimate choice of what to sacrifice, her world or her peace of mind?
