Version Up

Who am I? I sometimes wonder

A great puzzle I can never solve

Because of this, I always hide

Concealing myself behind the screen

I don't always know that to do

Althpugh that's what they think

But I always do my best

And pull them through

All they see is a computer geek

But there's so much more to me

Much more than I even know

Much more than I'll ever know

I know little about my past

I wish I knew all the answers

But no one can fill me in

Tell me what I want to know

I spend many nights here thinking

Looking up at the stars, and wishing

Wishing they could tell me

Clue me in, inform me

I know it sounds foolish but

I have a right to dream

A right to feel, to see

A right to know, want to know

Sometimes I wish I could run

Run away from what I don't want to know

Not to find out, never learn

The horrible, hidden truth

If I could change myself

As easily as I do my laptop

Perhaps I would finally know

Realize all I've ever wanted to find out

If I could change myself, an upgrade

Then I might know all I want

Find out about my past, who I was

Find out who I am, who I'll be

Until then, I wish, and wait

Wish to finally find out

Wait for the upgrade of myself

Wait for the "version up"
