Wishing

Sometimes, Kira wished. He wished, idly, for many things. That he hadn't been splashed with Rociel's blood. That he hadn't thrown in his lot with Alexiel in the first place. That he hadn't taken over the human's life.

But mostly, earnestly, desperately, he wished about Setsuna. That he wasn't so clueles. That he wasn't in love with Sara. That he wasn't so damned pretty.

He was wishing now, in fact, as he studied Setsuna's bruised form. Wishing that he wasn't such a coward, that he could tell the man how he felt.

Kira sighed.
