AijinMegami: This… is… a… really… bad… ending… but it was the only one I can think of. After this, I'm going to write the ending of Deception. I'm not going to talk more here so that you guys can read. Anyone who wants to know my thoughts –doubt it– can find it in my bio page thingy.
I DON'T OWN NARUTO!
Thank you, whoever stuck to this until the end. The ending my seem incomplete, but here it is!
"Sakura."
"Ka-Kakashi-sensei." She stuttered.
"There's no time to talk, we need to get out of here." He forcefully pulled her up and began walking out the door.
Her mind was filled with questions. Where was everyone? She had already guessed that there weren't many Akatsuki members around, probably just Itachi and Kisame, guarding the place. However, that didn't mean that the two were easy to beat. No one in the Akatsuki was easy to beat.
Sakura's eyes widened when she suddenly sensed it. She stopped running, forcing Kakashi to stop as well. She couldn't believe she didn't feel it before. The powerful cold chakra that crept up her spine like a nasty spider, using its long thin legs to leave small chilling pinpricks on her back that wouldn't fade no matter how many days past.
"S-Sensei… what's going on?"
Kakashi didn't answer, his eyes filled with shock.
"What are you thinking about Naruto?" Kakashi questioned with a hard voice. In all his years of being Naruto's teacher, he had never heard Naruto speak in such a tone to him or anyone else for that matter.
Gaara's voice made Kakashi turn his attention towards him. "Do as he says if you don't want to die."
Sakura gritted her teeth. This time, it wasn't like that. Sure, the feeling from before had been bad but it was now ten times worse… no, fifty times worse than before. If the previous sensation was a bunny, this sensation was a bunny that was mutated, had rabies, and was on her period.
"What's going on?" she demanded.
"I don't know…" Kakashi answered regretfully.
There was a low chuckle from the source of the horrible chakra. Sakura trembled; she had heard that voice somewhere only this time the voice seemed a lot darker. There were hidden intentions beneath the voice that she would rather not uncover.
"What's the matter, Sakura-chan. Are you afraid of me?" Kakashi's grip on her tightened instinctively.
"Sakura, get behind me." Kakashi ordered.
"I wouldn't do such a thing." A second voice crowed. Sakura didn't have time to react, only watch as Kakashi was brutally shoved into a wall.
"It's been such a long time since we've been released in these forms." The first voice whispered. Sakura took a step back automatically, feeling the wave of the heated chakra brush her sensitive skin.
"What did you two do?" she demanded.
"Do what, little cherry?"
Sakura glared at them with emerald eyes that glittered with anger. Her hands clenched into a fist, getting ready for anything. "What the hell did you do to Naruto and Gaara?"
"What's wrong Sakura-chan?" the voice made her shudder. "We are Naruto and Gaara."
"Don't fuck with me." She hissed. "I know who you two are. I know that you aren't Naruto, but Kyuubi. As for the other voice, it's probably Shukaku since it was Gaara that came with Naruto and Kakashi-sensei."
"Oooh, she's a smart one." Shukaku cackled. "And feisty too. I wonder if she's like that in bed."
"Don't get a head of yourself, Shukaku." Kyuubi growled. "She's fair game, meaning there's a chance that I'll be the one to bed her."
"High unlikely," was the reply from Shukaku.
"I'M NOT SOME FRIGGIN PIECE OF MEAT YOU TWO CAN FIGHT FOR!" Sakura screamed. Before the two could say anything else, she marched towards where Kakashi was. Kakashi was climbing out of the rubble, still sporting the careless atmosphere despite the blood dribbling down his face.
"What's going on Sakura?" he asked.
"Kyuubi and Shukaku took over Gaara and Naruto's bodies… although they still look the same, it isn't them." Sakura whispered.
"…let's get out of here." Kakashi whispered.
"Do you think it'll be that easy to defeat us?" a calm voice pierced the air. Sakura didn't move, the voice belonged to none other than Uchiha Itachi. She ignored his presence, helping Kakashi off the floor.
"Sorry," Shukaku said mockingly, "but you brats are a couple thousand years too late to be a match for us two."
"We've captured Jinchuurikis in the past; you two will be no different from our past missions." Kisame said with a frightening grin.
"See," Kyuubi said crossing his arms, "that's where the difference is. You guys were capturing the hosts. Who said that the demons were anything like the beings they were sealed into?"
Kakashi and Sakura felt the enormous chakra surrounding the two demons grow stronger. Kakashi felt Sakura's grip on his arm lax. "Sakura?" he whispered. 'What are you thinking about?'
She stared at the glowing figures.
"Ask yourself what you want."

What I want?

It was a rule all shinobis remembered… the rule that they would never wear their emotions on their faces, but deep within themselves so that no one would see their weaknesses…

"I want everyone to be happy…" she whispered, but right now, all of that seemed impossible. The root of the problem, all seemed to lie with her right now. It might sound arrogant to say, but right now, everyone seemed to have gone crazy just because of her.
The easiest way out of this situation was the stupidest idea a person could ever think of. Death. If she thought about it long enough, another more attractive solution could appear, but she didn't want to think anymore.
"But… I'm selfish. I don't want to die; I want to be with everyone until the very end. No matter who gets hurt, I want to live and see everything." She spoke so softly that only Kakashi heard.
"Sakura… what are you saying?"
"Allow her to continue until the very end."
"Ya kidding me, right?" she asked. "I'm getting kinda tired of being in that kid form and besides, who knows how long until this little war will end. Everyone might die for all we know!"
"As you said, Haruko, humans are fickle creatures." A soft chuckle came. "You never know what might happen in the end."
