I knew that you loved me still, somehow, somewhere in the depths of your mind. I knew it when we locked eyes for the first time in centuries; I knew it when I saw the conflict in your face. I know it even now as your fangs tear away my throat.

A final kiss of deepest passion it is, and it makes me realize just how very deep emotion can lie. This cold half-life is coming to an end. I shall be cast into the depths of the Inferno, yet I care not.

You love me still, somewhere, somehow. For if you truly wanted to punish me, you would let me go on in the cold for all of eternity.
