Author's Note: This is a shameless Prideshipping fic that I got inspired for by one of my rare RPs with an AIM buddy. Of course I personally don't see anything wrong with Prideshipping, I love it myself. So this is dedicated to all you fellow Prideshippers out there. And for those who want to know how Yami got pregnant in the first place, it will all be explained later on. Or you can contact me over AIM or MSN.
Pairings: Seto x Yami, Ryou x Yuugi (Prideshipping, Heartshipping)
Warnings: Only flashback lemon, that's it. Well that and male pregnancy heh… but this one of the first Prideshipping mpreg fics I believe. So it's all good, right? I know it's frowned upon, but my friend inspired me.
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, and I never will. It is the creation of Kazuki Takahashi. I also don't own any of the characters I mention. I also don't own Kamilah; she is my friend's creation. I do own Yukio Toshi Kaiba though.

Expect the Unexpected

Yami stared at the test that was in his hand for a good 15 seconds, he was still in disbelief. Of all things that could happen, he sure didn't expect this. He was more confused than anything right now, but fear was a rather real emotion right about now too. And no matter how often he tried to pretend they weren't, the two lines were still there…
"Why Ra… This isn't supposed to happen. Did it happen because we wanted our own children?" Yami thought as he started up at the ceiling. So many possibilities were running through the former Pharaoh's mind.
Yami sighed to himself, trying to figure out how to tell Seto about his predicament. He looked down at himself and realized that this would be harder to keep secret as time wore on. He had started to show now, and he was now in the habit of swiping some of Seto's clothes. Including a blue hoodie and a pair of sweatpants.
But he also knew that the clothes were the least of his worries. Yami had also developed the common cravings with pregnancy. Rocky Road ice cream was his main one right now, along with Gherkin pickles and sour cream with pizza. That would raise some major suspicion since the former Pharaoh claimed to hate ice cream.
"I can't wait to see you… but I don't know how your father will react to you. I kept you hidden for so long…" He sighed to himself, putting one hand over his stomach. He had to tell Seto soon, preferably sooner rather than later. But he knew that Seto would find out if he saw the empty ice cream containers and half eaten pickle jars.
Later that evening
Seto arrived home at his usual time, with a smile on his face. However he was shocked once more to find empty ice cream cartons, a half eaten pickle jar and an empty sour cream container. To him it looked like Jounouchi had stopped by and had one of his infamous gut buster meals again. So called because one look at the concoction would be enough to make anyone throw up. And if you were lucky to keep it down, you'd be paying for it later.
"Yami? Did you have company over again?" Seto asked, looking all around for his lover. He figured that Yami wouldn't eat that stuff. He preferred cheese pizza, or the rare occasion where he gets to eat Egyptian cuisine. The CEO figured it was because he missed it back in his homeland.
Seto heard no answer then walked up the stairs to their room. He smiled a little as he saw Yami sleeping with the covers pulled over his shoulder. Of course he had no idea why he was asleep this early. Unless their adopted daughter tired him out.
"Hmm... no I don't want Girl Scout cookies…" Yami spoke in his sleep, shifting for a moment as Seto touched his shoulder.
"Koi… wake up. I didn't mean to keep you waiting." Seto spoke, smiling softly as he kept his hand on Yami's shoulder. He didn't mean to startle him at all.
"I didn't hear you come up love…" Yami replied, smiling softly as he looked up at Seto. He had the covers pulled over his waist though, still hiding his secret.
That wasn't too unusual really, but Seto was still concerned about how often he's been sleeping as of late. He tried his best not to think too much of it right now, he kept a smile on his face so Yami didn't worry about him.
"I didn't want to wake you, that's all. Have you been feeling alright? I've noticed you've been sleeping a lot lately." Seto confessed as he looked into Yami's eyes.
"Oh, yes… I'm alright. I just wanted to take a nap and I guess I slept longer than I meant to." Yami answered, yawning lightly.
"Alright then. I'm going to fix myself a bowl of soup, just let me know if you want anything." Seto smiled for a moment before leaving the room. But this wasn't the Seto Kaiba people knew, and at work he wasn't like this.
A million thoughts were running through Seto's head right now, but nothing could explain what was going on. He also knew that Sugoroku wouldn't work him or Yuugi to near exhaustion like this. There must have been something… but Yami would tell him when he was ready to.
Yami had heard Kamilah whimpering in her sleep, but he too was having a hard time with sleep as well. He put one hand on his stomach as he sat up, sighing to himself. He'd be doing double duty in another five months. But he adored Kamilah, even though she had taken to Seto.
After a few moments he walked down to the nursery, wearing his silk pajama bottoms only. Now how much longer could he pull this off was one of those mysteries. Pretty much like his lover's gravity defying trench coat, and why his own hair stayed up right even after sleeping.
"What is it Kami-chan? Can't sleep?" Yami asked as he slowly walked into the nursery so he didn't wake anyone else up in the household. He smiled as he saw her sitting up in the crib, looking up with bright blue eyes.
Kamilah just whimpered, reaching her hands up so Yami could pick her up. She was more of a daddy's girl in a sense, although at seven months old she was starting to learn who was who. And who she favored.
"I think I know what I can do… I can sing you a lullaby my mother sang to me when I was your age." Yami smiled, holding Kamilah carefully against him as he sat down next to her crib in the rocking chair.
Baby it's alright...
I will not leave you behind...
Even when I am gone...
I will always have you in my heart...
I will always love you...
No matter where I am...
I will always be with you... right here...
Right in your heart...
Seto smiled as he heard Yami sing to Kamilah, he had no idea that he was able to do that. And the language that Yami was speaking sounded ancient, yet the lullaby sounded beautiful. He wouldn't mind having it sung to him.
"I had no idea you could sing like that, koi." Seto spoke, smiling softly as he put one hand on Yami's shoulder.
Yami blinked, obviously startled by Seto's sudden appearance. He looked back at Seto and managed a weak smile. At least Kamilah was on his lap for now, so he couldn't see anything.
"It's about the only thing that I can remember from my mother… Or barely. I thought Kamilah would like it, and she does." Yami smiled, looking at the sleeping form of their adopted daughter.
"Well it sounds good. Why don't you come back to bed?" Seto asked, taking Kamilah from Yami's arms carefully before placing her down in the crib.
"Alright, I'll see you there." Yami spoke softly, standing up from the rocking chair. He put one hand on his back, but tried to make it look like he had been sitting too long.
Seto nodded, watching Yami walk down the hall. He smiled though, knowing that his lover was probably more tired than he let on. The reason for his fatigue was still a mystery to the young CEO though, and perhaps he'd be finding out sooner than he'd like.
After a few moments, Yami was once again asleep on their shared bed. He had the covers pulled down because he was feeling hot. Despite the fact it was almost October, and it was chilly in the house. He figured that was another side effect, one moment he was freezing and pulling the covers over him. And next he was too hot and running all of the air conditioners in the mansion.
"Koishii… you awake?" Seto asked, as he walked into the room. He slipped under the covers as well, and pulled Yami closer to him. It was then that he noticed something different about him. He put one hand on Yami's stomach, and then moved it from his navel to the base of his sternum. (No… not that. His breastbone, or the bone that holds your ribs together up front.)
"I'm awake…" Yami flinched as Seto moved his hand along his stomach, now he knew. It was getting obvious since it was now starting to be a little more rounded than normal. Now what would Seto say? The former Pharaoh was scared out of his mind really for many reasons.
Seto blinked for a moment, noting his lover flinch from his touch. What was going on? He didn't really feel much anyway, only the beginning of a slight bump. The CEO didn't really think much of it at any rate.
"I can see that. I didn't mean to wake you; I just wanted to know why you have all of your covers off. You'll freeze." Seto smirked, kissing along Yami's shoulder for a moment before noting him flinch again.
"I know, if it will make you happy I'll put covers on." Yami spoke softly, pulling the lighter covers over his shoulder. He couldn't help how he felt though. This was just something he'd have to get used to for the next five months.
"Yami… you're keeping something from me. You keep flinching when I touch you. You never did that before really." Seto started, looking at the former spirit. Did it have to do with the bump he felt? What if it was a tumor, or worse?
"Well Seto…I don't know how to tell you this…" Yami started, turning his head to look into his lover's eyes. This could potentially ruin their relationship, or make it stronger. No one knew really.
