A/N: ok this is my fist fanfic so please don’t kill me over it. The first chapter isn’t very good but it does get better, I promise. There is room for improvement and suggestions…but please no flame for now. Thanks! R&R.

My name is Brittney. The nickname that my friends gave me suits me, Pred. I guess my life just revolved around Predators.
I was brought out of my slumber by a sudden bounce on my bed. I kicked at the lump of what I knew was my cat. “Go away!” I moaned. Raja ignored my kick and cambered up close to my head, demanding for attention. I shoved the annoying pest off my bed and got up. I yawned and looked carefully at myself in the mirror. My almost shoulder length brown/blonde hair wasn’t in as bad of a tangle as I had expected. I looked at my eyes; those chilling soul piercing blue/gray eyes stared back at me. I shivered, every once in a while, my eyes would scare me and turn my blood cold.
Raja rubbed up against my legs, mewing pathetically. I smiled, “Alright, I’m up, I’m up!”
I was sitting on the couch when I finally noticed the time. “Oh crap, MOM WERE RUNNING BEHIND!” I yelled down the hall. My mom ran through the door and grabbed her stuff.
I hoped into the car and prayed that I wouldn’t miss any sessions. I sighed, this was just another day in the world and country of boring. Little did I know that I was being watched closely by the last thing that I’d ever expect. The line for school was longer then usual. I looked at my watch and my heart sank, 5 minutes before the bell rang and I was considered tardy.
Great, just great.
I sat down with a sigh into my seat. I had made it. My friend looked at me and smiled. “Where you almost late again because of Predators dancing in your dreams Pred?” I almost laughed, “No my ‘alarm’ was late today.” We both burst into giggles. She knew that by ‘alarm’ I had meant my cat.
An alarm in my brain went off telling me that I was being watched. I looked behind me then, with a shiver, looked up at the ceiling. No one in my class was even looking at me. This disturbed me greatly. It’s just your imagination Pred, chill. I chided myself. But oh how wrong I was. The bell for that session rang and I got up to leave, when I saw the outline of something in that very room with me. “Oh…heck no…it’s just my mind playing games on me again.” I flicked my head in annoyance and left.
To bad I failed to notice that the outline followed me right out the door.
Jake grinned at me. “Well looks like we have to work together in this group.” He sounded just as annoyed as I felt. He was an annoying little pest who swore a lot and just loved attention. Today we had to get into groups for a project in Health. I was partnered with Beth, JM, Travis, and Jake. The presentation was due on Monday and today was Thursday so we had to hurry up and think of something. Jake made a stupid remark, so I kicked him. The blow landed on his shin, not where I was aiming but it would do for the time being.
“Ow! Hey what was that for!” He hissed. “For being an idiot, come on be serious this presentation is due Monday.” I hissed back. He narrowed his eyes and we got back to work. Our group decided that Jake was going to be the entertainment of our presentation. The teacher left the room for the rest of the period, to do something that I have no idea about but could care less.
We were debating on a name for him when he said something annoying and completely of track so I kicked him again. Then something happened that was funny but only that one time was it funny. Beth, our group leader, asked Jake what he wanted his name to be. Second he looked at me and said, “B-tch if you don’t stop kicking me, I’m going to kick you’re a-s!”
Everyone started to laugh and Beth looked at him confused. “You want that to be your name!” Jake grinned, “No I don’t but that would be humorous.” I watched in annoyance as he pretended to read a part of the script. He just always had to be the center of attention. My annoyance grew more.
“And now here is a mime with LDL. Please welcome….” Jack pauses and makes a surprised face at the invisible sheet of paper. “…Mr. B-tch if you don’t stop kicking me, I’m going to kick you’re a-s?” Everyone started to giggle except me. “Very funny Jake now let’s be serious.” Just to get the point across, and because I felt the sudden need to, I kicked him hard. He glared at me.
“B-tch if you don’t stop kicking me…” he never finished his sentence for slammed my hands down on the table and shoved back my chair with much more force then I expected from me. My rage must have showed in my eyes for Jake started to scoot away. I narrowed my own eyes. I had never been so angry at the Pauk’de human in my life.
“B-stard, if you don’t stop f-ing with me, I’m going to kick your sorry little a-s!” My voice held venom and evil promise in it. I felt someone’s eyes drilling into my back…I had a talent for telling who it was, but…I couldn’t figure it out. My intuition told me to look at the corner of the room, but I didn’t listen and kept my eyes trained on the scared sh-tless Jake. Someone touched my arm. I tore my gaze from Jake and turned around to see Allie standing there and shaking her head. “Don’t bother with him Pred. He doesn’t deserve it.” I nodded my head, she was right, he was an unworthy ooman. I thought it funny that at a time like this my mind started to go into Predator mode.
The bell rang and Allie looked over to where my chair was and gaped. I looked and saw that in my sudden show of strength, I had smashed the chair into the wall; the chair was bent in a few places. “Oops…” I mumbled under my breath and left with Allie.
