Outside Number Four Private Drive

Remus stood outside the Dursleys pondering on where the strange noises were coming from. All of the sudden there was two cracking sounds that came from right next to him. He immediately pulled out his wand on whoever stood there.

"Wocha Remus," Tonks exclaimed happily she was disguised as an old shriveled up woman no taller then Moody.

"Who in the world are you supposed to be," Remus asked in confusion.

"Moody's wife," Tonks exclaimed humorously.

"It's a disguise you sorry excuse for and Auror," Moody grumbled. Anger and frustration was evident in his voice.

"Happy to be of service sir," Tonks exclaimed as she waved her arms in an extreme pattern.

"He's still in the same position that he was when I left. Has that kid moved at all?" Moody questioned. The ex-auror took an appearance of an old bald man with a peg leg and a magic eye that whirled around, which was conveniently covered in a bowler hat.

"A little, he weeds the garden and does chores. I also believe that he gets up to write letters to the order and myself," Remus replied uneasily.

"I see him running through the park everyday," Tonks said puzzled.

"It doesn't fit," Remus stated to himself.

"What doesn't fit boy?" Moody half asked half snarled.

Remus stood in silence. "Do you mind if I stay and keep watch with you?"

"Of course you can. I could use the company. God knows Moody won't talk to me," Tonks said sadly as if it was the biggest thing in the world.

"I'll ask it again; what doesn't fit boy?" Moody stated it seemed that he was in a slight place of distress.

"Nothing, nothing at all," Remus answered in a distant tone.

Talking brought Aura from her dazed thoughts.

Oh great, my brother needs me.

Then she took off running down Private Drive.

'Clomp, clomp, clomp' sounded in an even rhythm.

"What's that, Moody?" Tonks asked uncertainty.

"Running," Moody stated, his magical eye swirling around so fast that all you could see was a blur of swirling color.

"Do you see anyone?" Tonks asked nervously as the sound of running got closer and closer.

"No, it is almost as if it is just a sound. Remus do you smell anyone here?" Moody answered and then asked in a gruff voice.

"Yes. It smells familiar. I can't place it," Remus replied.

"Well, who is it? We need to know if they mean any harm," Moody growled.

"Mad Eye, if he can't place it, then don't push him to," Tonks growled in a tone filled with malice.

"Wait, it can't be, she's dead," Remus said in shock.

"Who?" Tonks whispered.

"Someone who should have died fifteen years ago," Remus replied in a state of shock.

"Name?" Moody growled.

"I am sworn to secrecy. Unless Angel lived and took her," Remus replied a look of hope and happiness crossed his face as he said that.

"This is not something to be taken lightly. Are they a threat or not?" threatened Moody.

"She is not a threat unless someone messed with her mind, which I doubt because only six people besides her parents know she existed," Remus replied.

"So who are those people?" Tonks asked as she bounced up and down.

"Two were driven insane, Sirius, me, and two that died two days before her parents," Remus replied.

"Well that doesn't help much," Moody growled.

Suddenly the sound of footsteps stopped.

"That was strange," Tonks murmured.

"Did you ever here that sound before?" Remus asked.

"Yes, but it always ends before where we are standing," Moody replied.

"What is it?" was all Tonks asked as they stood pondering the origin of the mysterious sound.

Aura suddenly realized all the sound she was making when her godfather gasped.

Gee this is helpful, hopefully they still think of this as a natural phenomenon. Aura thought as she teleported to her brother's room.
