Pictures of people who used to be happy, who used to laugh.
You wake up, you go to work, same old routine everyday. You're lucky but you don't even realise it. You don't know what you have until it's gone.
And no matter what you do, the ending is always the same.
They haven't done anything wrong. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong moment.

Pictures. Perfectly aligned on a table. Evidences.

Traces left by a criminal for him to find. Just another day of work. Another case to solve. Another criminal to find.
Criminals are like animals but criminals are also humans. Does it mean that humans are animals?
Will you also die to soon? Killed by a crazy psycho who wasn't happy with what life gave him. But how can we be happy when we always want more.

Pictures. Perfectly aligned on a table. Case closed.

You take them and put them where they belong. In a box, stored in a big archive with hundreds of other pictures. Mothers, fathers, children. All gone too soon.
And as tears are falling from your eyes, you wonder. You wonder if you'll end up like this. Just another face on another piece of paper.
And you wonder if you're really meant for this job. If this is really how you want to live your life. If this is going to make you happy. But then you realise that nobody's really happy and you close the box.

Time to go home.
