Summary: He had been watching the blond for a while, ever since he first laid eyes on him. He wasn't sure when this attraction turned into a somewhat obsession, things like this never happen to a person like Megumi.

Megumi Hanajima sighed as he watched the boy walk home from school. He did this everyday, trying his best to not be noticed. Spying as much of the blonde as he possibly could. What did matter if Megumi was only in seventh grade while the other was in high school? Age was nothing but a number.

The young boy had been watching the blonde for a while. Ever since he first laid eyes on him, when the blond was walking with his sister, Arisa, Torhu, the boy named Yuki, the boy named Kyo, and a white haired boy. And instantly there was an attraction.

There was many times when Megumi just wanted to run up to the group while they walked and introduce himself to the people that he didn't know, if only to see the blonde smile and hear him talk.

However, the boy was too shy to do that. He only fantasized what it would be like. He could only bet that the blonde had a sweet voice as well as a sweet personality.

He wasn't sure when this attraction turned into a somewhat obsession, things like these never happen to a person like Megumi. He remembered his first crush had been on Arisa, but that was so long ago. It was before he got to know her very well, and once he did he realized that it was just a feeling of longing to be her friend. Although the feeling was a bit extreme.

This time it felt different.

His sister knew how he felt. He knew she knew. It was painfully obvious, no matter how discreet he was trying to be. Then again, his sister and he usually knew how the other felt about things. They were close siblings, unlike the majority. Especially since the Accident with her, ever since he learned how to curse others, they became closer then ever.

However, this isn't about their sibling relationship, this is about Megumi's infatuation with the blond boy, whom he only got to see on occasion.

He was always wondering why the boy wore the girl's school uniform top with shorts that weren't even part of the uniform. Not that it didn't look good on the boy. He also wondered why the boy painted his finger nails, or why he dressed like a girl. It was all part of the mystery, part of the boy's enigma. Something that Megumi was not ready to unveil.

He had seen the boy on the weekends as well, at the shopping center and library. Not on purpose, he wasn't a stalker. He would just catch a glance at the blonde boy. See the boy running from the corner of his eye.

"One day, I will speak with you Momiji Sohma." Megumi whispered before running off toward him home.

Perhaps someday though, he will go up to the boy. But, as he watched him now, walking with the others, that day would not be today.
