does freaky dance FINISHED! AND THE END PT. 1 IS TOMORROW NIGHT! HELL YEAH!
Her desperate cry echoed throughout the entire scene, where rocks and boulders slaughtered with ice began to cascade down from the ceiling. She got up and began running to her, not even caring as she scraped her knees so that blood was knocked out of her. It was now that everyone began to regain consciousness, except Starfire. Changeling followed his daughter, Zephyr and the rest of the others fleeing.

“We have to get out of here!” Cyborg shouted as Changeling reached to pull Amey away from Raven’s body.

“Come on, Amey! We have to go! We have to leave her!” he shouted against his mind and to his daughter, knowing that there was utterly no way that they could save Raven now. But Amey pulled and struggled, using all her strength to worm her way out of his tight grip to run over to Raven, when Firestrike came over and grabbed her back, Changeling coming back to help.

“There’s nothing we can do!” Firestrike told her, despite the fact that he knew that his father was dead. “No!” Amey protested, now struggling against both boys. “I can save her! I can!” she willed, her arms all of a sudden turning black so that she slipped through their grip.

“Amey!” both of them called, but Amey ignored them as she ran over to Raven, blood everywhere. Amey wasted no time as dirt fell from the ceiling upon her, reaching her hand out to touch Raven’s face. She prayed that it would work, taking what she knew by instinct. Raven remained cold and unmoving as Amey picked her up to hug her, tears spilling down her face. The stones and boulders fell heavier and heavier, beginning to bury them. Amey’s mind raced for a way to revive her mother, and she closed her wet eyes in concentration as she replayed the battle in her head of what her mother had done. If Raven could do it, so could she. Unpredictably it flashed into her mind, and she snapped them open at that very instant to shout,

Azarath Metrion Zinthos!”

Amey felt her hands vibrate strangely, and with a magnificent force it felt as though she herself were having her soul sucked out of her. Changeling and Firestrike had abandoned her now, knowing that she wouldn’t leave Raven. She tried to breathe in, but couldn’t as all her energy were put toward Raven and she taking in Raven’s pain. She knew that this would affect her, but she also knew how it would affect her mother.

“Amethyst?” Raven murmured, coming back to life. “Mom!” Amey cried feebly, reaching out and hugging her mother, collapsing in her arms. Raven held her closer, unaware what was going on. The entire cave was collapsing, already caved in so that they couldn’t get out. Mother and daughter held each other in a tight bond, not wanting to let the other one go.

Mother and daughter…

NO!” Changeling shouted, as they reached the surface, falling to his knees. Firestrike and Forrest helped him back up, having to run away from the disintegration of the rubble. The street they had entered caved in as well, creating a crevasse in the middle of the road. Buildings began to fall down into it, destruction reigning. Zephyr swooped down, using the forces of her wind to shift them upward, keeping them out of the way. Changeling remained slumped, unable to believe that the people he had wanted to know the most had pretty much died before his eyes.

It wasn’t long until the devastation came to a halt, the street now up in chunks and dirt/ash everywhere. It was a despicable scene, like another 9/11 had happened, only smaller and in the middle of the road. Buildings had had fallen into it, lives lost in the process. The Titans stared, eyes huge as they realized that trying to save the people they had loved killed the ones they needed to protect as well.

Remaining on the updraft that Zephyr safely kept them all on, they floated over the wreckage, unable to believe it. They had destroyed just about 5-7 miles around, knowing that this was about ¼ of the city. They would have to pay for it somehow, but right now only death was on their minds as they occasionally passed by the dead and solemn corpses. All those years of protecting the city had been wasting.

Starfire was beginning to regain consciousness, looking her bashed head up to see all the rubble, confused. And then she realized what had happened. She was slung around Bumblebee’s hunched shoulders, and she looked around to see everyone but Raven, Amey, and her husband. She shifted, picking herself up and standing there. Firestrike realized this and went over to her and embraced her, hating this ending. She chewed her lip, praying that there were no casualties, but that was a fault in her hopes. Her mouth then slowly opened into agape, green eyes wide.

“Look…” she said in a hoarse voice, lifting a finger to a circular shape in the distance. It was black and orb-like, and Zephyr sped her updraft up so that they could see the shape up close. Changeling lifted his head up to see that this was no ordinary bubble- it was a shield made out of Raven’s magic.

As if something inside it had seen them, it disappeared into nothing like the smoke had, and right in the middle of that was two figures, each in one another’s brace. A smile came to Changeling’s face, and he hopped off the wind to go down and hug Raven and Amethyst, tears leaking down everyone’s cheeks as they were a family, Zephyr setting them on the ground. The twins looked at each other, unsure but now knowing the truth about Raven, and stared at their father. Amey couldn’t help but notice their gaze, and she broke away from her parents to look at their sad faces. Changeling and Raven turned as well, and the green man smiled. This was Zephyr and Forrest’s queue to join the group hug, everyone embracing everyone. Raven knew that these weren’t her children- but they were Changeling’s just the same, and she would treat them the same way if they were Amey.

Changeling held them all the best he could, looking deep into their eyes. He smiled that smile he always had plastered on his emerald face, feeling this bittersweet tale come to an end.

“Let’s all go home.”

There was a moon that night, stars winking in the heavenly blue sky as it shone down upon Titans Tower. A shadowy figure remained on the cold roof, the wind ruffling through her scruffy hair, tousled in strange angles. She sat with her knees up to her chest, just staring unblinkingly at the landscape before her. It was obvious where the city had caved in, machines and everything now trying to rebuild it. The moon made it so that it cast a long shadow upon the roof, leading up to a door that soon opened. Another figure walked out, coming over to the one already on the roof and sitting down in the same position.

“I can’t help but feel responsible,” the dead words came from the lips of the first figure, who had a voice cracked as if they had been whining from crying for a certain period of time.

The second person turned to the first, unsure of what to say. She looked out as the landscape as well, the waves rolling up on the shore way down below and receding back to where they belonged. Amethyst wasn’t the only one that felt guilty. They all felt guilty, and the waves reminded her as if life had just washed ashore only to go back into the time of birth and death. Was that even possible?

Raven turned to Amey, who she knew… no, hardly knew. She corrected herself. She knew what she had gone through- with the rape and everything, but what she didn’t know was Amey herself.

“What did the test say…?” Raven asked uncomfortably, knowing that Amey had made sure that if she was pregnant or not. Deathstroke, afterall, had raped her without anything to stop him from planting his seed. Amey swallowed, a hand sifting through her short, purple hair.

“It was negative.” She replied, a wave of relieve washed over Raven. She didn’t want to be a grandmother just yet- and she knew the pain that Amey would’ve had to suffer if it had been positive. She nodded, happy, and then placed her legs down so that they hung off the edge of the building. She instantly brought them back up. It was cold. No one had noticed it, but the summer had blazed right before their eyes and autumn had just fallen past them, and now winter was approaching.

“You’re not responsible for all this Amey.” Raven said, trying to say that this wasn’t all Amey’s fault. She knew that in some way that it was everyone’s, but she knew that she couldn’t say that. But deep down, she knew what she had to say. Everything had started a chain reaction, leading up to… this…

“I am.”

Amey cranked her head over to Raven, who now stared just like her daughter had across the disdainful setting. Amey didn’t understand how in the world it could be her fault- and yet it kind of made sense. She still thought of Raven as a slut, not knowing the truth yet. It was right then and there that Raven began to tell her- right from the beginning- on what was the entire feud between her, Changeling, Terra, and all of them. She even added in a few things, such as when she had been with child with Amethyst, reporting to her about the hardships that she had to go through. And yet, she still had a happy moment here and there, just sometimes sitting with Amey as a three-month-old child in her arms as they rode yet another Metra train, searching for another place to live. It hadn’t necessarily been happy, but it was more over peaceful. Amey felt herself become relaxed, listening for once on how Raven spilled the truth to her.

And once she was finished, Amey laid her chin down on her knees, thinking for a moment. Raven had to turn away and wipe the tears from her eyes, knowing that if she let Amey see them she would come to believe that she were weak. She didn’t want her thinking that anymore.

“Mom,” Amey spoke up, wanting to know something that was on her mind. “Why… why before… all of this… happened… did you hate me…?” Raven turned to her, unable to hold her tears back or wipe them away. She licked her lips, whispering,

“I was blinded Amethyst. Blinded by my own hate.”

They embraced each other again, Raven kissing the top of her daughter’s forehead, so glad that she had her. Now, she actually felt something come from her, stronger than any anger or any sadness that would work its way through her. And she liked the feeling of it, and just holding on to Amey made her never want to let go.

“Ahem,” a grunt spoke up, and both of the girls let go of each other to find a certain green changeling standing there in the moonlight. They looked back at each other, both thinking the same thing with their arms around one another.

“How long have you been standing there?” they asked in unison, and Changeling walked forward so that soon he was right in front of Raven. He grinned, replying, “Long enough for me to know that you’re finally ready to be a mother.” He spoke to Raven, and then touched her face with his hands to bring her closer to him, placing his lips on her mouth. Raven jumped at this, eyes wide open, but then they soon closed to a half-lidded position.

A warm smile made it’s way across Amey’s face, and she turned to leave when the door banged open again. The couple didn’t look up as the not-so-much-anymore Terrible Threesome came out, seeing what was up. They saw Raven and their father together, and their eyebrows lowered into a scowl. Amey stood there, unsure of what to do, when River came forward and hugged her knees. The twins looked at their little brother, who seemed to accept Amey just fine. Forrest smiled- why couldn’t he? He was just a half sister, and at the moment being someone else’s child didn’t matter. He hugged her, smiling broadly and then looking back at his sister. But she didn’t move- just scowled and remained in that position. Amey opened her mouth to say something, but Zephyr turned her back, and that was when Amey realized why she didn’t want to be part of all this. Zephyr already belonged to a family, and that family was of one person who she remained loyal to- Terra.

Raven broke away from Changeling, a visible blush on her cheeks since the moon was so bright. She smiled, and nodded. She looked over at the three others that were up there, and smiled at them as well. Raven turned back to Changeling.

“You know what,” she said, leaning against him. “I think I am.” And with that, Amey could only look over her shoulder to see Changeling and Raven in another kiss.
