Warning: Spoilers for Junior's past. Drabble.
Notes: I was going to try the 30Kisses theme but the only couple I could think of to write it for was already taken. I have no patience to wait for it to be freed up so I went ahead and just rolled with the inspiration.

Rubedo means red.
It's not much of a name when you really think about it, but then the U-TIC scientists had never been known for their stellar personal skills. Besides a name was better than no name even if it was just another way to say red.
Albedo means white.
Some forgiveness could be given to them though. After so many identical batches of clones the last series had to have been shocking in their differences. It was only human nature that led them to name the URTVs after their coloring. If a dog had spots, it was called Spot. Why would it be any different for them?
Nigredo means black.
It really wasn't much as far as a name went, but what did they need names for anyway? They were URTVs. Specially made bioweapons trained to fight U-DO. Specially made and trained, but in the end still expendable.
Rubedo means...
Rubedo is red. It seeps through the cracks of his fingers as he desperately tries to stop it from flowing. It swirls around him in dangerous eddies that infect madness or death into the clones around him.
Albedo is red. His hands drip with the color and his eyes reflect the light of U-DO. His broken and insane laughter, if it were to have a color, would be red as well.
Nigredo is red. It soaks through his uniform and pools around him leaving his face sickly pale. It seeps into his lungs stealing his already labored breath.
Rubedo means red.
Nigredo's head rolls limply as the Realian easily lifts him ignoring the blood that seeps into his uniform. As Rubedo feels himself sliding into blessed unconsciousness he thinks that there is nothing he hates more in existence than the color red.
