Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans. If I did, you would see a LOT more of what's under the girls' outfits :)
"How could we run out of cash?"
This shout, among many others telling him to keep it down because it's 4:00 A.M, vame from Cyborg. He woke up to an urgent call from Beast Boy, and had met him in the living room.
He had recently discovered that the team was completely out of $$$. "Well," shouted Beastboy,"if you didn't buy so many video games, then we wouldn't be out of some certain green slips of paper!".
"Oh yeah," retorted Cyborg,"you keep buying so much of that mush that you call 'health food' that we have no room in the fridge anymore!".
"Will both of you shut up!"
The two teens turned to see Raven standing in the doorway with the classic anime vein popping out of her head.
"I don't care if we're out of money, you shouldn't be screaming at each other at four in the mor-". She stopped abruptly, and her eyes grew wide. "We're out of money?" she gasped. "Excuse me one moment". She walked into a closet and shut the door. They later heard a piercing scream and the sound of black energy making a bucket rebound off the walls and into her head.
Moments later she emerged, a red bump on her forehead and a shocked look on her face. It quickly turned to one of anger. "How could we be out of money?" she asked Beast Boy through clenched teeth. "Well, Cyborg over here was buying so many video games!" he told her. "But Beast Boy was buying all that tofu!" a desperate Cyborg responded.
"I don't care who's fault it is," said Raven. "How are we going to get money?".
"Perhaps we can work at the mall of shopping," a cheerful as usual Starfire said as she and Robing walked in.
"NO!" everybody else shouted at her.
Robin turned on the TV. By a stroke of "luck", it turned on just as a commercial appeared.
"Stunt Teens Inc. is now hiring," the announcer said. "Participants must be 15 to 18 years old. We are looking for 5 teens. Come to 1414 Abracadabra Street, Jump City for auditioning".
"That's it!" Robin shouted as he lept up from the seat. "We can join and get the money. Our salary should be enough to buy more food". The lights and TV suddenlt went off. "And the electric bill," he continued.
So, how's this for a first chapter. Did you see the reference to The Supernaturalists I snuck in there. Also, you may recognize the people that are working at 1414 if you read that book. Note that I lost the book, so I don't remember the exact location of the place on Abracadabra, so please tell me! Thanks!
