Secrets. Cedric Diggory has many secrets and now he is dead the number has only increased.

His secrets used to be bad marks in Arithmancy that he'd burn in the fire of the Hufflepuff common room, the knowledge that the Ravenclaw Roger Davies was actually in love with Harry Potter but thought he was too young and quiet meetings with Oliver Wood that always seemed to end up in sweat-slicked bodies and warm hands tracing across the scar that ran down Cedric's back.

Now his secrets are about Harry Potter practising Dark Arts in the dead of night, trying to find anything that will defeat Lord Voldemort, that Cho Chang has taken the Dark Mark to stop her little brother from being killed and that the Headmaster controls Professor Snape with the Imperius curse.

Cedric never tells secrets. It's why he was put in Hufflepuff. He is glad he doesn't have to decide whether he should tell these secrets though - even if he would, he can't anymore. Secrets will stay secrets and Cedric will keep them safe.
