So get this:
Francis Line lived in lineland, and he liked it there. There was little that he didn't like about lineland, it was simple, but complex all the same. He was often in the same place for years at a time because of a people jam, where two peoples next to eachother argued in the same place until they got a long. Nobody ever died in lineland, they just slowly disintegrated until everybody forgot they had ever existed. They reproduced to the right and moved to the left and only reproduced once in their lives, so everybody to the right was younger. Francis Line has one child, a girl, but he doesn't know it because he's always looking ahead of him. Ahead of him was Lucy Line, his mother, but she was also the mother of Francis's daughter, who had a son, and Francis was the father. It always worked that way, if a female was in the back, she would have a male, and if a male was in back, he would have a female. Since linelanders always let off a little bit of themselves into the atmosphere, it would be received by their child who would spit out another line. They couldn't have anymore children because when they had a little bit of debris in them, no more would fit.
They all traveled along the great line. Some thought that the line wasn't really a line at all, but a circle, because sometimes before their last bits disintegrated, people would claim to see children up ahead of them, but only the really old people talked about this.
So get this:
An atomic missile was sent into space, by a more developed lineland. When they discovered the lineland in which this is about, which they called Hubbox-9 after king Hubbox ІХ. They were afraid of danger, of an attack, that Hubbox-9 would harm them in someway. When the missile made contact with the infinite line it broke the line immediately, and killed all lines on that section. It was funny, the lines had never experienced death and they never knew what happened. It is also funny, what happened to all the lines continuing along? The story is not dead, lineland continues on, each line as it continues along the now finite line falls off into space once it reaches that point. They keep going until they disintegrated. Their didn't change, most of them probably only noticed that their line was ending, but didn't notice that they were falling.
So get this:
The other lineland, the atomic missile lineland is safe from Hubbox-9, but they will never be safe from themselves.
