Disclaimer: I don’t own Gundam seed or destiny because if I ever did there would be no Meer or Hawke sisters. (I want to kill Fukuda!) I wrote this to ease my asucaga pain and one more thing, I love fluff! So this is super fluffy! Don’t read if you hate romance! View at your own discretion! (Don’t read it if you’re a Luna fan.)

“Cagalli please wait!” Athrun said taking a hold on her hand. He was back on the AA once more and is trying desperately to correct all the mistakes he made especially to Cagalli.

“What!” Cagalli now faced him, hot tears flowing down freely down on her face.

“I just want to say-“

“Shut the crap off Athrun! Just go back to that Lunamaria!” Cagalli pushed his hand away from hers. “Don’t touch me, jerk!” she pushed him and ran away. She knew who Lunamaria was and could never forget .She saw her and that jerk kissing. Athrun explained that she forced herself to him but she won’t believe it. She had enough of his lies.

Cagalli’s words pierced Athrun’s heart. He felt hopeless. He was really trying to get her back. He still loves her and the soon-to-be fact that she was going to leave him drives his mind to the brink of insanity. He then remembered what Lunamaria did. She is a nice girl but her actions proved otherwise.

“I have to get her back, whatever it takes.” Athrun thought.

He ran as fast as he could. He didn’t care what physical abuse he might get from her. All he wants is to apologize to her and let her know that he still wants her to be the one who’ll share his everyday with.

Finally catching up with the woman he loves dearly, he pulled her once more, but only this time, it ended up with him embracing Cagalli. He knew

It was inappropriate but he insisted. He longed for her touch.

“I’m so sorry” Athrun said from the bottom of his heart. “There was no Lunamaria, no Meer, just you Cagalli…even when I was away and being fooled, my heart and my mind never drifted away from you.” He said finally breaking down. He didn’t know how she will react for all he knows is that he adores this woman.

“You’re lying!” Cagalli said crying and beating his chest with her fists but she never pulled away from him. She still loves him and was only having doubts about his loyalty to her and to everybody.

“I’m not lying Cagalli… I mean it… I’m not going to leave you ever again. I’m sorry for being such a fool.” he then felt that Cagalli was returning his embrace. It felt warm and he could never be happier.

He was about to say something when he noticed that Cagalli fell asleep on his arms. She was working too much again. He didn’t want to wake her up so he carried her there to her room.

He settled her down on her bed and removed her shoes. He gazed at her sleeping form and had to admit to himself that Cagalli has the cutest expression when sleeping.

After being contented on just looking at her, he turned away and reflected on his actions. He thought about Dullindal, Meer, Lunamaria, Shinn and his friend, Kira. He knew that he added more weight on his best friend’s emotional bag.

But most of all he harmed the one he loves the most, His woman.

Up to now he is still thinking if he deserves Cagalli, he went completely against her and he had to admit that he was the one at fault. After that, he then remembered the purple haired guy that was trying to take advantage on his princess.

“Yuuna...” he hissed angrily and clenched his fist. He wanted to beat the hell out of that monkey but his dark thoughts disappeared when he felt Cagalli hugging his back.

“I’m sorry.” Cagalli said burying her face into his t-shirt.

“You have nothing to apologize for... You did nothing.” Athrun said rubbing her hand trying to assure her.

“Zala, are you telling me what to do!” Cagalli removed her right hand and smacked Athrun’s back. She loves the smooth feel of Athrun’s clothes.

Athrun chuckled. His fiery princess is back to her old self once again. Before he can comment on what she said Cagalli spoke up.

Her voice turned serious.

“Athrun, I’m really sorry, I almost got married to that jerk… I didn’t care much about how you will feel back then. I’m sorry.” Cagalli’s last words were almost beyond human comprehension for she broke down into tears and is hiccupping loudly.

Athrun faced her and wiped her tears.

“It’s alright, princess.” He then took Cagalli’s trembling hands in his. He wasn’t sure on what he was about to say but he had to know now for there is no way she would let Cagalli go away from him again. He needs her and that is the only thing that matters now. He wants to build a future with her, have kids, grow old and eventually die happy for he can’t picture building another history with someone except Cagalli. She maybe a pain in the ass, but she’s the pain of his ass. She came to him in the most unusual way but to Athrun, the fact that it was way too unusual meant destiny has brought them into each other’s lives and completely changing it.

It was now or never, he then, popped the question that he was dying to ask.

“Do you still want to get married to a jerk like me?” Athrun said looking straight into Cagalli’s eyes.

“I know I don’t deser-.”

“You idiot! I’ll get married to you anytime, anywhere and if someone deserves me, it’s you and no one else!” Cagalli hugged Athrun tight. She felt as if she was on top of the world for Athrun is the only one she wants to be with.

He then returned the embrace. He was so happy; Cagalli was once again his and he can finally call her as his own.

He fumbled on his pocket where her ring was. He slipped it on her finger and kissed it.

After that, they stared into each other’s eyes that are filled with great love and gentleness for each other.

“I love you, Cagalli.” Athrun said lovingly.

“I love you too. And one more thing, I forgive you.” Cagalli said meaning that she putted all the things that happened in the past behind them. Nothing could break them apart but if someone will dare to try, she will just have to break her bones into pieces.

“I’m glad you did... how many kids do you want?” Athrun said playfully, he loves seeing Cagalli squirm but only this time she didn’t.

“Just two, a boy and a girl.” Cagalli said stroking Athrun’s cheek.

“That’s a good choice.” Athrun said finally closing the distance between them.

And it was the start of their new future together.
