A bracelet.

Lloyd had given her a bracelet.

It was a simple bracelet, made of silver with leaf-pattern links, but it was beautiful.

And she had nothing to give in return. It was Christmas morning, and Colette had nothing to give in return.

But then an idea hit her.

Colette ran up to him, tapped him on the shoulder, and kissed his cheek.

It was a light kiss, clumsy and awkward, but thankful nevertheless.

And than she ran off, blushing and giggling, to go talk with her friends.

Lloyd smiled. That was the best gift he had gotten all morning.
