A poem I wrote a while ago after reading the Ring Manga. It may contain some possible spoilers. It sort of links Sadako existance to the existance of human beings and how things began.

WATER PLAY

It started in the sea,
In water play,
Water play…
Life begun to swim,

And from the sea,
There will be,
A child-born of sin.

Water play,
Water play,
It will never end...
Water play,
Water play,

She will never stop.

Ftomthe highest mountain,
To it's shallow little stream,
Their child is born,
Is that - the sea?
What does this story mean?

And still today,
They will stay,
Trapped as they heed.
A cry to us humans
This tale of her greed…

Water play,
Water play,
Water in the sea.
Water play,
Everyday,
And goblins will be yours.

Her life is still a curse,
A curse upon our kind,
No mercy to her name,
A cure we'll have to find.
But is it she to blame,
For mankind's mess...
Yes she is, and no she's not...
And so, this truth I stress...

Water play,
Water play,
Water is the sea.

Water play,
Water play…
Water is the key…
