Love Was Enough…

It was a beautiful evening down on the bayou, Rogue and Remy were enjoying the second day of their honeymoon. Sitting out on the front porch swing curled up and looking at the stars. He held her tightly to him as a soft, gentle breeze passed by. They looked up at the moon and traced patterns in the starry sky.

"After everyt'in' I done, I'm surprised dat y' stayed wid me."

"Ah'm not one ta judge, Remy. Ah have no raht t' anyhow. Ah've done some bad thin's too. Sugah, jus' fo'get 'bout it. Love is all we need. We've got each other…Ah say thaht's perfect." She smiled and turned to face him. "Life's perfect…since ya came int' my life. Ah don' want thaht t' change."

He kissed her deeply and whispered French into her ear, and against her neck…she leaned into his warm embrace as he picked her up and they headed inside.

"Y' know dat we gonna haveta go back t' de mansion soon…right?" Remy said softly.

"Ah know, but we might as well enjoy time here." She replied softly.

"Remy knows…it's jus' I don' want a repeat event. Who knows wut would happen if Bella found out we were back in town. It's a big risk dat y' brought me down here."

"Well Ah knew that y' wanted a nice place to honeymoon. Ah figured thaht yah might be a little home sick. So Ah figured tha best place was N'awlins."

"Remy still appreciates de t'ought cher." He pressed her against the wall. "Now let's go have some fun…Mrs. LeBeau."

"Aftah y' Mr. LeBeau!"
