Set during either the zabuza/haku arc or on a random mission.

It's only in this silence that I can hear him screaming, on and on,
alone. And it pains me greatly to know this. To know that my beautiful
broken blonde can feel this much hurt, and it breaks my heart. The
great silence that surrounds me is only enhanced by these unknown
screams. But looking deeper, I know all is not quiet.

I can hear the quiet sobs. They are just as loud as his silent screams.

No one notices when I slip off my bed.

No one sees me as I walk towards his.

No one cares when I slip in by his side. No one but him.

A delicate gasp is heard from my koi, but as I hold him closer to
myself, the hushed sobs started again.

As the tears subside and we both fall into a drowsy slumber Naruto
looks up at me.

"Sasuke," he whispers.

"Hmn," I mumble back.

"Thank you," he says, cuddling closer and burying his head in my chest.

"Naruto," I whisper back.

He glances back up, beautiful blue eyes outlined in red from tears.

"I love you," I say with a small smile.

He grins lightly and blushes before burrowing back into my body with his
own mumbled 'I love you.'
