I shudder and hope no one can hear these quiet sobs of mine. Tear
after tear slides down my face, burning my skin and turning my eyes red.
I try to wipe them away, but as soon one is gone, several more take its
place. I give up.

I hear a rustle of sheets and wonder if my cries were loud enough to
have woken someone. Attempting to silence myself, I hold my breath as I
hear footsteps on the floor behind me. Warmth surrounds me as my breath
escapes in a quiet gasp. Two strong arms envelope me and I turn in their
grasp burying my face in the chest as a new wave of tears pour out.

Slowly the tears start to subside as the comfort and love radiating
from my koi fills my mind.

"Sasuke," I whisper drowsily, looking up at him.

"Hmn" he grunts sleepily.

"Thank you," I say softly and bury my face in his chest.

"Naruto," he whispers back in my ear.

I glance back up and stare into his beautiful obsidian eyes.

"I love you."

I grin and feel a light blush grace my cheeks before I mumble the words
back to him and fall into a peaceful sleep.
