Three's a Crowd

Very awkward.

Raito squirmed a little, but that only reminded him that he was chained together with L, who didn't seem to find this strange or awkward at all. If Raito didn't know any better, he would have thought that this was a regular occurrence. But, that couldn't be… could it? Since he would know if L and Misa Misa did this regularly… wouldn't he?

"L, what do you think of this ?"

"Mmm. Very nice, Misa Misa. No, just tug that down a little lower- perfect …"

"Should I-?"

"Please do!"

"Misa Misa does right?"

"Misa Misa does very right. Now turn around…"

Raito breathed in and counted to ten, and then breathed out again. He started to count the ceiling tiles again and tried to ignore the uncomfortable chafing of the handcuff. He bit his lip and tried to concentrate on something else. Tennis. No, tennis wasn't a nice thing to think about, it just reminded him of the match he had with L… Baseball. Baseball is an American game that involves hitting a baseball with a bat and stealing bases- no, this is a very bad time to think about stealing anything .

It was to the point where he couldn't take it anymore.

"Misa," Raito said, through gritted teeth. "Just choose a lingerie set already! You've probably modeled all the ones in this damn store!" He turned his head to L and asked, "And how the hell do you know so much about women's underwear anyway?" even though he was confident that L probably wouldn't tell him (just stare at him and give him that annoying smile of his), and he probably didn't want to know anyhow. There was also the underlying question, How are we suppose to pay for this? in his eyes since Raito knew Misa Misa left her wallet back at their hotel room.
