I am writing this story together with a friend in rpg form. Katie writes some characters and I the others. I hope you will like what we came up with.

We do not claim to own any of the characters bedides the OCs. We just write for fun!

I am not originally english, so please bare with me if you find mistakes!

Short summary:

Shortly after the incident in the ministry of magic Trelawney tells another prophecy. She is on her way out of Hogsmeade and only one person is around, a Death Eater. He quickly tells his Lord about what he heard.

Voldemort is shocked, as the prophecy tells of his downfall and the only thing to prevent it, according to the prophecy, is time. Not wanting to accept his end he starts searching for a way back in time, as he believes this to be the answer.

After hard research he finds out about the wheel of fate and manages to find it in september 1996. With it´s help he travells back in time, warns himself not to kill the Potters and then goes back to his time again.

In the future everything is different now. Voldemort never was stopped, instead he became more and more powerful. The dark side took over the ministry of magic and controls almost everything. Only a small bunch of people, the Order of the Phoenix, is still resisting. They live in a hidden place, protected by it´s secret keeper. They try to find a way to bring Voldemort down and make the world safer for everyone again, especially the muggles and muggleborns.

Hogwarts itself still is a school. But ruled by Voldemort mostly dark magic is taught there. And only purebloods are allowed to attend Hogwarts.

In this different world however Harry remembers, that the world shouldn´t be like it is. His bond with Voldemort makes him remember the past as Voldemort does and as it really was.

Harry tries to find out what happened and slowly finds out, that he is not the only one remembering. Why are there others and why does he know? The few people that know will have to find out about the wheel of fate and that it were their ancestors, who made it, the founders of Hogwarts.

Will the few knowing people succeed in changing the world back to what it was? Is that even possible? This story will tell!

Characters:

In the changed reality there are several kinds of wizards:

1. The evil people, who work for Voldemort. The most talented and cruel ones are the Deatheaters, who work like the Aurors did in the real world, before it changed.

Their children go to Hogwarts, the most popular wizarding school for dark magic.

2. The good people who stand up against Voldemort. Mostly they are members of the Order of of the Phoenix and their families.

They live in a village near the mountains, not too far away from Hogwarts, called Phoenix Ville. This village is protected by all kinds of spells and it´s secret keeper James Potter, so that it can´t be found by anyone but the inhabitants. The children there are taught in a small school by some teachers.

3. Good people that live in fear and pretend to follow Voldemort. Their children could go to Hogwarts or any other school that might not be as dark as Hogwarts itself.

4. Muggleborns either live like normal muggles not knowing they are wizards or trying to hide that they are wizards, or they are part of the Resilience, a group of muggleborn witches and wizard, who train and prepare themselves to stand up against Voldemort. Recently the Resilience and the Order of the Phoenix made contact to work together, but so far they don´t really trust eachother.

backstory in the changed reality:

Voldemort came back from the future about half a year before he would have killed the Potters. Then in the past he never went after the Potters. Instead he went after other members of the Order, recruited more Death Eaters and other followers, killed many muggles and muggleborns and became more and more powerful.

About four years after Harry was born the Potters and some other members of the Order however went into a trap and got surrounded by many deatheaters and Voldemort himself. Voldemort didn´t know that he faced the Potters and tried to kill them. During this terrible fight Dumbledore appeared, helped most of the Order members escaping and saved Harrys life by getting in the way of Voldemorts Avada Cedavra curse. Dumbledore wasn´t fast enough to react differently. Fighting about 10 deatheaters he only saw the small boy and knew he had to save his life, as he was special.

Shortly after Dumbledores death Voldemort took over the Ministry of Magic and soon controlled nearly everything.

Without Dumbledore the Order of the Phoenix was disorganized and week. Most members went into hiding, untill James Potter brought them together again and formed Phoenix Ville with them. From there they organize their activity against Voldemort and are safe from being found.

Our story will show you this changed reality and if everything can be changed back.
