One shot
Naruto went to wash his face at the stream because he said that he was ‘hot and needed to cool off’. Kakashi went with Naruto claiming that he might do something stupid. Sasuke was sitting in a tree, looking bored to death.
“Sasuke” Sakura said. “Hn” Sasuke replied opening his eyes, looking at her.“Um…can I ask you some questions?” Sakura asked nervously. “Whatever” Sasuke muttered coldly, he closed his eyes once again.
“Umm… Do you think I’m pretty?” Sakura asked blushing. “No” Sasuke said plainly. Sakura nodded understandingly. “What the hell is his problem!” Inner Sakura said angrily. “Stupid cute stuck up bastard.” She finished.
“Do you like me?” Sakura asked. “No” Sasuke said again. “GRRRR…MUST. RESTRAIN. FROM. STRANGLING.” Inner Sakura seethed in anger.
“Do you hate me?” Sakura asked hoping he didn’t say yes. “No” Sasuke said. “Hey, at least he didn’t say yes.” Inner Sakurasaid with a hintof hope he would have changed his cruel ways.
“Do you think I’m annoying?” Sakura asked. “Hai” Sasuke said. “OMG! What a jerk!” Inner Sakura yelled out in anger. “STUPID IDIOT! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS!” She kept on chanting. ‘Shut up! You’re giving me a headache.’ Sakura yelled at her inner self in anger.
“If you had to choose between my life or yours, who’s would you choose?” Sakura asked doubtfully. “Mine.” Sasuke said opening his eyes. “OKAY! THAT’S ENOUGH QUESTIONS!” Inner Sakura said in anger. Sakura could tell that her inner self was glaring daggers at Sasuke. Sakura was trying her best not to break down right there.
“Okay, that’s all.” Sakura said turning around. “Matte” Sasuke said jumping off of the tree. “What the hell does he want now!” Inner Sakura asked impatiently. “He’s already said all those heartless things about you. What more does he want to destroy?” she muttered angrily.
“Your leaving when I didn’t even finish answering your questions?” Sasuke asked smirking. Sakura looked at him confused. ‘What’s he talking about?’ Sakura thought confused. She turned back to look at him.
‘Ugh, I don’t know why I’m saying this. It’s all that dobe and baka sensei of mine, fault.’ Sasuke thought inwardly blushing at the things he was about to say. “I don’t think you’re pretty, I think your much more than words can say.” Sasuke said blushing lightly. Sakura looked stunned and blushed lightly too.
“I don’t like you, I love you. And I could never hate you.” Sasuke said blushing more. Sakura blushed too. She shyly looked at the ground.
“Of course you’re annoying. That’s because you’re always on my mind and it gets annoying after awhile.” Sasuke said. Sakura looked at him smiling slightly.
“I would chose my life because you are my life.” Sasuke said. Sakura’s smile grew wider and she blushed more. ‘I-I-I can’t b-believe that h-he’s saying these things!’ Sakura thought happily. “Pft, me either! And he’s so cute when he blushes!” Inner Sakura said squealing.
Sakura blushed slightly than looked up at Sasuke. She hugged him. Sasuke blushed more and hugged her back. ‘Stupid idiots, making me show my emotions. B-but I’m glad I did. I get to finally be with Sakura.’ Sasuke thought while hugging her.
“You’re a bastard you know that?” Sakura said. Sasuke smiled a small smile. That didn’t go unnoticed by Sakura. ‘That’s the first time I’ve seen him smile.’ Sakura thought blushing. She looked down so he couldn’t see her blush.
Sasuke rolled his eyes. “Oh great, you’re starting to sound like Naruto now.” Sasuke said. Sakura laughed at that remark. She sadly broke the embrace and smiled sweetly at him. ‘I don’t know what to do. But I guess I’ll act on my instincts now.’ Sasuke thought.
Two people in the bushes heard the whole thing. One accidentally stepped on a twig snapping it. Sasuke and Sakura’s head turned in the direction it came from. Their ninja skills finally kicked in. (Don’t know what took them so long. What great ninjas they are, ne? Obviously sarcasm right there.)
Sasuke threw a kunai at the person. The person blocked it. “Great job Naruto.” Kakashi mumbled stepping out of the bushes. Naruto laughed sheepishly. Sasuke and Sakura’s eyes widened. ‘T-they heard the whole thing!’ Sakura thought.
“That’s it! I don’t care if they’re my teammate and sensei, let’s kill them!” Inner Sakura said cracking her knuckles.
“Naruto? Kakashi-sensei?” They said simultaneously. Sakura blushed. Sasuke looked at her in the corner of his eyes and blushed too. He glared at Naruto and Kakashi, which by the way went unnoticed by the two ninjas.
Naruto started chuckling. “Sasuke and Sakura sitting in a tree K-“ Naruto was cut of when Sakura punched him. Sakura shot Naruto a warning look that said “I wouldn’t do that if I were you because I think you’d like to make it out alive and see Hinata.”
They heard a giggle. They saw almost all of the genin ninjas behind them with their senseis. “Why are you teasing them Naruto? Besides, it's so troublesome to do so.” Shikamaru said lazily. “Yeah, they don’t even like eachother.” Ino pointed out annoyed.
“Ohayo Hinata-chan!” Naruto greeted her and went to hug her. “Oh yeah, greet your girlfriend but not us.” Tenten said teasingly with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Ino rolled her eyes at Tenten.
“Your boyfriend can greet you.” Ino sneered. Tenten and Neji blushed and said “I was never talking to you and so can yours.” Tenten said crossing her arms. She huffed out in annoyance. Ino kept on arguing with Tenten while she just ignored her and glared at an innocent tree.
“At least they didn’t hear what you said.” Sakura whispered to Sasuke while they all started arguing with eachother. “Aa” Sasuke agreed silently. ‘Phew, because if they did hear it, I would never hear the end of it from Hyuuga and dobe.’ Sasuke thought embarrassed.
‘I love Sakura, but I’d be embarrassing to be teased by them.’ Sasuke finished interwining his hands with Sakura’s.
“I’m surrounded by idiots.” Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Kurenai, and Asuma said in unison, shaking their heads. That went unnoticed by the arguing teammates.
