Severus and Hermione most definitely belong to J.K. Rowling.
Warning: This will probably offend those who have only the highest regard for our darling Severus.
"You, my beloved Hermione, are the most magnificent specimen of woman I have ever laid eyes upon!"
Severus mapped the contours of her face against the glass that divided them with adulating fingers.
"Pity you rejected my proposal," Severus mused disconsolately. "I would have treated you like a Queen, you know."
Severus pressed a yearning kiss to the glass. "Good night my love. Pleasant dreams."
He paused momentarily at the door to cast one last admiring glance back at her. Candlelight flickered across lifeless, unseeing eyes. Bushy hair drifted idly in the preserving fluid.
"You are perfection indeed, my dear."
I promise that I usually support Severus and Hermione in their quest for a loving and fulfilling relationship.
Those 100 words are heinous, I know. They were inspired by the canon description of the Potion Master's office and a fit of pique at insubordinate children.
