A year later, the big day was finally creeping up on Yami and Seto. They still had a lot of stuff to do, and only two days to do it all in. But Seto had the location already picked out, and invitations sent out a week before. So if all went well, the wedding should go off without a hitch.

"Aren't you even the least bit nervous? We have two days to get ready, and we haven't even gotten our tuxes yet. Do you know how awkward it's going to be with me in my business suit and you in leather?" Seto asked, watching his fiancé look through the guest list.

"You look good in your business suit, Seto. And yes, I am nervous. But let us worry about the tuxes later. Yuugi told me he was going to pick them up this afternoon. But we need to discuss this guest list. Did you really want to invite all of your employees?" Yami asked, leaning back against the chair.

"Only Isono and perhaps a couple of others. I don't know as many people that would be on my side anyway." Seto replied before he walked up behind Yami, a light smile on his face.

Yami nodded, reading over the list a little more. Yuugi was already going to be in it, since he was the best man. Mokuba, ring bearer. Honda and Jou were groomsmen and Otogi was an usher. Ryou was going to be on Seto's side with Otogi and Mokuba to even it out.

"You're allowing Yuugi and the others to be in the wedding?" Yami asked, raising an eyebrow. He knew how much Seto hated the tachi. They still had a couple days to fix it anyway.

"Not willingly. We should just have a private ceremony with only Mokuba, Sugoroku since he technically was like a grandfather to you. And that's it. Maybe Yuugi if he asks nicely." Seto replied, putting his hands on the back of Yami's chair.

"I know. I should have consulted you about this." Yami spoke softly, looking at Seto for a moment before he frowned slightly. He turned his attention back to the list, looking to see who they can cross off.

Seto frowned, knowing Yami was thinking about this long and hard. But it was a short time to do it in. Then again, a year was longer than most others took to plan for weddings and such. And sometimes weddings also took longer to plan, but apparently the CEO had it all pretty much set the way he wanted it to be.

"Yami, what do you want? I mean I know neither of us have been married before, but did you have dreams of what you wanted? Like a big fancy wedding with all of your friends, or something simple?" Seto asked, putting his hand on the other's shoulder. He for one didn't want all the press swarming around the location of choice.

"I know it would make sense to have our immediate family there. You hate Jounouchi with a passion, so that's a no go. Then again you don't really like any of them… So we're better off making it private." Yami replied, leaning back against the chair.

"If you want it to be, love. I don't want to run your decisions. This wedding is for the two of us, not only you. And not only me." Seto started, sitting next to Yami. He looked over his shoulder and saw Amethyst toddle into the kitchen.

"Da?" Amethyst spoke softly, she was past the cooing stage now. And was just now starting to walk a little better. She was looking a lot more like her father now, with the exception of her striking crimson eyes and blonde bangs.

"Hey baby girl. Come to help?" Seto asked, looking over at their daughter. He sighed a little, watching Amethyst toddle into the kitchen. He was just amazed with how fast Amethyst grew up. It seemed like yesterday that she was holding up her head for the first time.

Amethyst nodded as she walked over to her father. A light grin crossing her lips as usual. She was always so intrigued by what was going on half the time. And now it was a discussion she probably heard a million times by now. Even if she didn't understand half of it yet.

Yami smiled softly, turning his attention to Amethyst for a second. He really could use a diversion just for this moment. Besides, they had awhile to get this planned. Two days in actuality, but right now the former Pharaoh was trying to not think about it.

"And how is our little girl? Do you want to see your uncle Mokie? Your daddy and I have to talk about something important." Yami smiled, looking down at their daughter. She was just growing so much. But he knew it was going to happen.

Amethyst giggled and nodded, holding her hands up waiting for someone to pick her up. She was surprised when Mokuba appeared behind her, but she was still in a giggling fit. So she was also happy when her uncle showed up.

"Don't worry; I'll watch over her you two. There is a lot to go over still right?" Mokuba asked before bringing Amethyst upstairs with him. He respected the fact that his brother and Yami wanted to discuss the wedding plans without any major distractions.

Yami nodded before he stood up to head into the living room. He knew this would hopefully be the last time they discussed this until the actual wedding day arrived. Of course he knew tomorrow would be harder because they were keeping with tradition with him not seeing Seto before the ceremony.

"What do you want to do now? Mokuba is upstairs with Amethyst, and we still have things to discuss. Just to get it over with and all." Seto started as he took a seat on the couch next to Yami. He just wasn't prepared for how heated this could get.

"Whatever you want to do. If you want to discuss the wedding, we can. But what is there to discuss?" Yami asked, looking up at Seto as he sat on the couch. He had been refining the list to accommodate what Seto wanted.

Seto sighed, hating when Yami got this way. If he didn't know better, he'd think Yami was pregnant again. He put his arm around the former Pharaoh's shoulder after sitting next to the other.

"There is a lot to discuss over the next two days. We can still use your wedding list, but not all of them will participate. I can allow Otogi and Honda to come, even though I dislike Honda. Jou is not coming though. You can't make me let him even step foot in the church." Seto started, crossing his arms.

"I know, love. We'll think of something. So we might as well discuss this now. We have everything else planned except the wedding itself. And if we even have a place to have it." Yami sighed softly, looking at his fiancé. He folded his hands over his lap this time.

Seto nodded, sitting back against the couch. He might as well hear Yami out and see what compromise they could come up with. They both didn't have a lot of people, and Seto's family was very small. Since it only comprised of himself and Mokuba. Yami's was only Sugoroku and Yuugi.

"We make it small, and simple. Only have Sugoroku, Yuugi, Mokuba and whoever else in the actual ceremony. I figured Otogi since he isn't really part of your little group. Or he wasn't until he got together with Honda." Seto started, his arms still crossed over his chest.

"Let me get this straight. You want Otogi, Yuugi, Mokuba and Sugoroku in the actual ceremony right? So who is going to be your best man?" Yami asked as he was still making adjustments to how things were going to be set up for the ceremony.

"Mokuba is still the ring bearer. Otogi will be the best man. Yuugi will be on your side and Sugoroku I figured is walking you down the aisle. Cliché I know, but since both of our fathers are deceased it only makes sense." Seto spoke softly, frowning for a brief second.

Yami nodded, looking at Seto for a moment. He knew exactly what the other meant, but then again he was also aware that the taller was talking about his biological father. The CEO wouldn't have frowned over Gozaburo at all.

"So it's settled then. Small wedding, only four actual participants. The others can be in the pews and watch right? I know I won't invite Jounouchi. I'll keep that much the way it should be." Yami replied, hoping they got this settled without too much fuss.

"Exactly. So now all that's left to decide is where exactly should we hold the ceremony? Perhaps outdoors in the park? I don't usually do romantic, but since its March it's starting to warm up a little bit." Seto replied, leaning back against the couch slightly.

"And some flowers are starting to appear… I love it. Now everything is settled. And the reception will be at the mansion, unless you can think of a better place. If you want that in the park as well, then by all means." Yami started, offering a light smile.

"Whatever you want. Since we're not having a million people, we can have the reception here. Besides, it would be more convenient for us later on." Seto grinned, putting his chin on top of Yami's head.

"Seto! Is that all you can think about?" Yami grinned, turning to look up at his fiancé. He couldn't help it; he liked to be shocked every once in awhile. He loved Seto dearly, but sometimes he didn't know what to do with the taller CEO.

"Maybe, maybe not. That's for me to decide." Seto replied, putting his arms around the other. Finally things were coming together, now all they had to do was wait. And pray that nothing else happened over the next two days.

Two days later

The last two days seemed to have passed quickly, and now was the time for the ceremony to begin. Seto was nervous, but that was to be expected. He looked around the chairs that were situated near the koi pond in the park. He knew Yami invited a couple other people, but Jounouchi wasn't present. So that much he could tolerate, he just wished that the others had a say in it.

"Everything will be alright Mr. Kaiba. Look at it this way, since this is so small it would only be a few people who know about it." Isono spoke, looking at his boss before he took his seat in one of the chairs.

"It better only be a few people. If this leaks out to the press, you can consider finding yourself a new job Isono." Seto spoke, narrowing his eyes slightly as he looked at his more trusted employee.

"I made sure the park was closed off to others per your request, sir. This is as private as it's going to get, save for eloping." Isono started, but immediately quieted down as he noticed Seto's icy glare.

Seto just sighed, and directed his attention to the red carpet between the chairs. Eventually Yami would be walking down that carpet. But first would come his brother and Otogi would be walking down with Yuugi. He felt butterflies in his stomach, but he knew he could go through with this.

Meanwhile Yuugi and Otogi were waiting their turn to walk down, but they were also talking with Mokuba. Everyone seemed excited and nervous as well. The green eyed dice master alone was surprised that Seto even let him be part of this.

"You alright Otogi? You look more nervous than Yami." Mokuba asked, looking up at the taller. He understood Yami being nervous, but why Otogi? Then again, there were probably things he didn't really want to know.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Besides, how often does one of your friends get married right? And I know someone else is nervous also." Otogi smiled, watching Yuugi with Yami near the taller sakura tree. But they were still out of sight from where Seto was.

"I am not nervous. Just… apprehensive. Shouldn't you guys be heading down by now? Sugoroku is still here, probably to make sure I don't run off." Yami smirked a little, looking toward the elder. But that faded to a light smile. This was it.

Otogi just laughed before looking at Yami. He then looked down at Yuugi and put his arm around the smaller's arm. He could protest if he wanted, but Otogi knew the truth, Yami was nervous.

"Of course you aren't. Come on Yuugi; let's let your other half be not nervous." Otogi chuckled before he headed toward the carpet with Mokuba in front of them. He was just surprised the shorter duelist was so silent now.

Yuugi laughed and smiled up at Otogi as they headed toward the carpet. He knew Yami better than anyone, and he was nervous. He was just putting up a brave front so no one could tell.

"We'll see you in a few minutes, Mou Hitori no Boku. Maybe by then you won't be nervous!" Yuugi called back, still laughing. But he calmed down once they got to their respective places.

"Apprehensive!" Yami protested, sighing for a moment. OK, maybe he was a tad nervous. But he had every right to be. It wasn't every day he got married, and what surprised him was who he was going to be after today.

Yuugi just shook his head, waiting for their cue. He looked up at Otogi, then back in front of them. Seto looked nervous too, which was rare for the CEO. He was usually as cool as a cucumber. Or cold as ice, whatever analogy fit best at the moment.

As the music started, Seto stood up straight at his end of the carpet. He watched Mokuba come down first holding the pillow that held the rings on it. He offered a smile toward his brother as he took his place. Then he watched Otogi and Yuugi walk down, he nodded toward them as they took their respective places.

Then the music changed to a rather beautiful Egyptian tune, more than likely picked by Yami. Seto smiled as he turned to face the carpet again. Then he saw Sugoroku and Yami standing at the far end of the carpet.

Yami stood near Sugoroku, taking a breath before they had to walk down together. He felt butterflies in his stomach, but he was trying to calm himself down enough to go ahead with the ceremony.

"You'll do fine. Just take a deep breath, and smile. Besides, we're all here. So let's do this shall we?" Sugoroku smiled, looking up at Yami for a moment before putting his arm around the other's arm lightly.

"Right. This is it, no turning back." Yami smiled, taking a breath before he and Sugoroku headed down the carpet. He was glad that everyone seemed to be enjoying the music. He had a hard time deciding, but it seemed to be going well.

Sugoroku nodded before he walked slowly down the carpet together. He smiled softly, looking up at Seto once they got to the end. He stood there between Seto and Yami, the smile not leaving his face once.

Seto smiled, looking toward Yami. The smile not leaving his face either. This was it… and after today, they'll be together for life. But the smile he gave was generous and actually kind.

"Friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness the union of two souls for all eternity. Marriage is a holy sacrament which is usually celebrated with the union of a man and a woman, but today times have changed." The minister smiled, looking up at Yami and Seto.

Yami stood on one side of Sugoroku, occasionally looking at Seto from the corner of his eye. He listened to the minister speak, and say all the stuff about marriage being a holy sacrament and whatnot.

"With that said, who gives this man to… er, this man?" The minister asked. It was definitely awkward, and new for him to ask that. He had never really done a wedding like this before.

"I, his guardian do." Sugoroku replied. It wouldn't be right if he said grandfather, even though to a technicality he probably was considered one to Yami. But it would be better saying guardian.

The minister nodded before he motioned for Sugoroku to take his seat so he could continue the ceremony. He smiled as Yami stood next to Seto, taking his hand. Now he could get started with the good stuff. Mostly more talking about the holy institution of marriage, the vows and the presentation of the rings.

"Now will you two face each other? And let us pray." The minister started before he started in on a prayer that blessed the two that were about to become one. And he blessed the rings that were positioned on Mokuba's pillow.

Yami listened to the minister speak, shifting his weight slightly. He glanced up at Seto for a brief moment. He didn't think that they'd be standing around forever. He and Seto planned on a quick wedding, no longer than a half hour. Then the reception afterwards, and of course the wedding night.

"And now I am sure these two have their own vows." The minister started, smiling as the two faced each other. He was prepared either way really. If they had vows or not. If not, it was not a big deal really.

"I, Yami, take you, Seto, to be my partner, loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know. I eagerly anticipate the chance to grow together, getting to know the man you will become, and falling in love a little more every day. I promise to love and cherish you through whatever life may bring us." Yami smiled, looking up at Seto. Sure it wasn't mushy, but it was the best thing he could think of at the moment.

"Yami, I promise to love and care for you and I will try in every way to be worthy of your love. I will always be honest with you, kind, patient, and forgiving. But most of all, I promise to be a true and loyal friend to you. I love you." Seto smiled; probably marking one of the first times he actually said he loved Yami in public. But right now he didn't care.

The minister smiled before he took one of the rings from Mokuba's pillow. He looked at Yami and Seto before he held the ring up. And of course he proceeded to talk about how the ring symbolized everlasting love because the circle never ends.

"Now, Seto repeat after me. Put this ring on his finger and say 'with this ring, I thee wed." The minister spoke, giving the ring to Seto. So far this whole ceremony was going off without a hitch.

"With this ring, I thee wed." Seto smiled, placing the ring on Yami's finger slowly, yet gently. He smiled toward him for a moment, seeing a faint trace of tears building up in his eyes.

"And Yami, I want you to say the same thing." The minister smiled, watching the two. After this, then they would be officially married. He was just waiting for the people that showed up to erupt in cheers.

"With this ring, I thee wed." Yami spoke softly as he placed the ring on Seto's finger. He looked up into sapphire eyes, occasionally blinking. He allowed a single tear to fall down his cheek, but it wasn't a tear of sadness at all.

Sugoroku smiled as did Yuugi and Otogi. Even the few people that were invited smiled, now everyone one was waiting for the minister to say the words everyone was waiting to hear.

The minister smiled softly as he joined their hands together, before he turned Yami and Seto to face the crowd. And as expected the others looked expectantly toward the front of the carpet.

"And now I present to you for the first time ever, Seto and Yami Kaiba. You may now kiss each other." The minister smiled, hearing the small crowd cheer loudly. Just what he loved to hear at weddings.

Seto didn't have to be told twice. He pulled Yami to him and kissed him deeply, one hand against the back of his head. This felt so right now, and they were finally together. And now their family was just about complete.

Yami returned the kiss, putting his arms around Seto's waist the best he could. The smaller breathed through his nose, his eyes closed all the way as he felt Seto deepen the kiss. He wanted it to last forever, but reluctantly he pulled away to see the small crowd cheering and smiling.

"Yay!" Mokuba cheered, all but jumping from his position at the beginning of the carpet. He was happier than he was earlier that day, and he hadn't even eaten wedding cake yet. But he was looking forward to that part.

Seto just laughed, walking back down the carpet with Yami. Now they were finally together, and could grow old together. And try to raise Amethyst, and explain to her who her mother is. There were so many challenges ahead, but Kaiba Seto never backed away from any challenge before. So why should life's challenges be any different?

Additional notes: That wasn't too bad now was it? Seahorse is over, but please stay tuned for Two Step. That is the sequel, and you can find out what has happened over the first two years of the marriage and if there is something else in the works as well. And I am still taking names.

Poll time again. The name poll results will be revealed at the start of the sequel.
