Roy Mustang would often practice his moves on the ladies in advance, in the form of a mirror. Of course, he would also have to anticipate the women's reactions; thusly he had to practice that in the mirror as well. So that is how one day he found himself saying, "Why hello there."

And then in a slightly higher pitched voice, "Hello, you handsome fellow."

"Well thank you; you're a very pretty lady yourself. Would you like to go out for some coffee?"

"Why of course sir, how could I ever resist a face like yours?"

Ed, however, wandered on by, and stopped to watch through the open door. After a moment, he walked away muttering, "Havoc owes me money. I was right, Mustang CAN seduce himself…"
