Hello again readers. This is the sequel to Against Them All. If you haven't read that story, it would help you a lot if you read that. It would help me too. But, I tried to make it as less confusing as possible so you probably wouldn't have to read it. But please read it before reading this story.

Anyway, I hope you like this story because it is my second. (Against Them All was my first.) And I'm sorry that I keep writing about WITCH instead of other people. But its only because there are so many people writing about the others that I'm afraid I might take their idea. But still, I might. Just wait. And yes, there are poems at the end; I noticed many people liked the poems I put at the end.

So, here's the story.

And sorry about the slow start.

Will lifted the window shade of the circular window. Bright white light cut through the darkness of the phone. The light splashed down onto her lap and palms. Only one streak of light landed on her mother's sleeping face.

Will tried to look out the window, to see Heatherfield. But the light above the clouds was too bright.

Will's eyes stung. Blindly, she slammed down the window again. When she opened her eyes again, Will saw faint red curtains shading her eyes, like it was actually on her eyes. She rubbed her eyes.

How long was the ride again? Four hours from Heatherfield to some other crummy city. What was the city's name? Something with a J. But Will remembered it had a really dumb name, a really dumb name, something ridiculous.

Will missed all her friends. She promised she would write to them. But now as she thought of it, she realized it was a baby-like thing to do.

But she would probably never see Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, or Hay Lin again. Will missed Hay Lin's always joyous face and state of mind, Cornelia's support for her, Taranee's company and helpfulness, and Irma's hilarious and sarcastic acts. She wouldn't forget them.

Will not only left her friends, but left her all-time serious job, being a Guardian. If a plane ride took a few hours to get back to Heatherfield, that would mean that it could be a risk if she couldn't get to the mission location in time.

It was six in the night and the sun was still up. In four hours, it would be ten in Heatherfield but seven in the new city.

Her last mission with them was when a girl terrorized Meridian.

That would probably be her last mission as a Guardian.

Now she was going to some city with a ridiculous name.

I don't know why I'm recording this, but right now is 7:38 PM (Eastern Standard Time). I want to see how fast I type this.
