Inuyasha let out a frustrated growl as the coloured light hit his eyes once more. He'd been trying to take a nap in the branches of the Goshinboku tree, like he normally did when Kagome was in her era. His eyes had drooped and he'd just about fallen asleep when that annoying coloured light began flashing in his face. And it didn't matter which way he turned for another coloured light took the previous one's place.

Finally, he leapt out of the tree's branches with a growl and he stormed in the direction of the first light. When he got there, he saw Kagome and Kouga standing there, an embarrassed smile on her face and a smug grin on the wolf's. He narrowed his eyes.

"Sorry, Inuyasha," she stated before he could say anything. "It was the only thing I could think of to get your attention. But look! Isn't this necklace my mom gave me beautiful?"
