Chapter 8 – Dr Urd makes a house call while the scouts plot a “man hunt”

Taeko leads the strange doctor-lady to where they have the two laying down. Something strikes her as odd about this “Dr. Urd”. Urd on the other hand is very concerned about her sister. As she started to examine them she first saw that the connection was between her and the boy she could see the wish command sitting unexecuted around Skuld. She pull out a thermometer in this case a heavenly probe and saw that the connection levels between the two were at an insane level. Skuld should be able to read not only his top thoughts but everything that boy is thinking or feeling. Or ever DID feel for that matter. Probably explains the fact they were both passed out. Peorth didn’t give her much instruction just to see what was wrong and make sure they didn’t take to anything inconvenient like a hospital or something. She looks over at the boy and well stops a second. He is HOT. Well muscled looks incredible. She starts giving him a slightly more thorough exam. As she is feeling around his package Taeko blurts out “uhmm is that really part of the exam?”

“Trust me deary I am a doctor” she smirks. But does at least stop fondling him. He is well worth the time to fondle she thinks to herself ‘How did Skuld get this sort of connection with a hunk like him and I wonder how he would look tied up and in a mini-skirt’. While she is thinking that she sees something no one else would be able to see A golden line runs between his right hand and hers. She has seen that line before It’s a “promise” mark. A line that only angelic or demonic creatures would be able to see. Its when a god or goddess makes a promise to a mortal. They must help fulfill the promise what ever it is. Skuld had done something in her vegetative state to get herself promised to the boy. Well she hoped for Skuld’s sake this boy had a better libido than Kechii did. She sighs frustrated and a little jealous she finished her “examination” of the two. They seemed healthy but from her scans they were in a dream world of some sort. She could force them out but was told only to make sure they were ok and not to interfere too much. They were doing needed work ect. All of this needed work bored her. She turned to Taeko and Karou to tell them about how things were going “Well in my professional opinion they are sleeping and we really should let them sleep until they wake up.”

“SLEEPING!” said Karou “They both just passed out and nothing we have done has woken them is there nothing else wrong with them?” Urd looked thoughtful a moment. “No not really. I think for the time being let them rest. If they do not come to in a few days then we can try more invasive methods. In my experience it’s often best to try and let the body heal. Sometimes this can go on for…” She is interrupted by a pair of hands that have reached around her front and started bouncing her breast up and down. She feels a slight pinch on the nipple before she turns around with a look of rage on her face. She sees the very cute very playful and very amazed looking face of Tina who says “Wow Miss Doctor those are the nicest boobs I have ever felt. What did you do to get THOSE!” Urd Twitches a little. Normally she would do something rash like blow this girl up but she is supposed to be acting Mortal and Tina complimented her chest . That always sits well with her. They are two of the most magnificent specimens in all of the universe.

big sigh “please do not do that again or I shall be forced to hurt you A lot. Thank you for the compliment I was created that way” says a Very exasperated Urd. Usually she is the one in control of the Sexual side of things. Karou rushes forward “I am very sorry please that is just the way she greets folks she does that to everybody” Deciding that she wanted to be the one to control this exchange and not the blonde she leered at Karou leaning in close and said “If YOU want to greet me like that is one thing but I don’t want her doing that again.” Karou backed away with a massive sweat drop forming going “gahh uhmm no Dr Urd I would never..” As he is walking backwards he walks right by Skuld who is still passed out Urd follows him in a predatory fashion and as she walks by her unconscious sister Skuld’s arm moves suddenly tripping Urd who falls flat on her face. The silence then is only broken by the sound of Skuld who is apparently talking in her sleep very softly “Urd no hentai”. Everyone sweat drops.

Rei puts the phone down in disgust. She then uses the communicator and gets no response as well. ‘Damm it of all of the folks I should have been able to get a hold of easy on this Setsuna is the one’. Picking her communicator back up she calls Ami and Motoko to get a general meeting of the scouts. Someone eventually gets a hold of Usagi who was at Ucchan’s eating for free like usual. No one is able to reach any of the outers excepting for Hotaru who says that she will be at the meeting presently.

At the shrine all of the inners gather around with Tuxedo-baka and the cats. The general things that go on at these ‘meetings’ happen. Usagi starts whining about not being able to read Rei’s manga. Rei proceeds to yell at Usagi. Usagi starts to cry. All of the things that always happen until someone points out that Hotaru said she would have been there an hour ago and did not show up. Ami calls Hotaru on her communicator. She quickly sees Hotaru’s worried face “Hey Hotaru are you coming and have you seen the others?”

“Yes Ami I have and I cannot come. Under orders that only the inners can be involved in what you guys are doing”

“Huh? Who gives you orders like that?”

“Well first it was just Setsuna but then when Haruka threw a fit we all got a brief visit from the future Pluto as well. Whatever you do don’t try and hurt Ranma. Things will go badly” Hotaru looked like she had been crying. “You do not want to know what we were shown. Just no matter what else you do just do not provoke that man.” Hotaru broke contact and ran to her room crying. She could still see the images of her powering up and destroying Venus just to kill Ami. She knew that was a possible future now and it hurt her a lot.

Ami went back to the others. “Well none of the outers are going to show.” Rei looked angry “Yes they know all about what is going on and the only message she was allowed to give from the future Pluto no less is under no circumstances are we to provoke or harm Ranma. So I guess that means that Ranma is still alive eh?” This started a flurry of conversation between the inners other than Rei and Ami. Rei was stunned. She knew that he held a great chance at killing Usagi that something terribly wrong could come form him. The Outers are going to do nothing? What the hell is going on?

“Guys I called you here to tell you about my vision. The outers all apparently know about it but for some reason they do not want to get involved or us to for that matter. Usagi you’re going to need to know about this.” She relays the visions to them telling them that both visions seemed to take place at once and her feeling was that it was something that was not yet decided. After a great deal of discussion along with two more attempts to get any of the outers to respond Usagi sits and says “Ucchan loves Ranma and thinks he is a great guy if under a lot of stress. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and see if we can help him rather than hurt him. Besides Hotaru would not want to see me dead so I trust her.” The rest of them are unsure of what to do so they follow the line They DO all agree that finding Ranma is a priority so they can scope him out and see if he is evil or not. Minako and Motoko both vow to find him first because if he is NOT evil he doesn’t get married to Ucchan in that good vision that means he is fair game and the pictures Ucchan has of him well drool. They all scatter to start the search except for Ami who starts a much more logical search by using her computer and Usagi who is stuck in the latest “Rozen Maiden” manga. “ohh I want one of her….” Usagi says mostly to herself. After a few minutes Ami locates an official name change from one Saotome Ranma to Sakuraba Ranma some time ago. This narrowed her search to the various Sakuraba estates and families. She sends this list out to each of the scouts. She looks over the list and decides to check out the Inn the Sakuraba’s own that is not too far form the university. She needed to stop by and check on a project of hers there anyway.

Ami walks down the long drive way heading to the front gates. Such a lovely house and attached apartments. This family is really richer than she thought it was. She knocks on the door and it is answered by Taeko who bows and asks how she may help. Ami replies “I am looking for A Ranma Sakuraba is he at this address?”

“Yes he is but he is ill and the Doctor is seeing him right now”

“It’s really important I see him is there any way I can just see him a moment” Taeko is not good at dealing with pressure from anyone and this girl is determined to see him but she knows the standing order. She pulls out and reads from a card. “You are not to your knowledge; one of his Fiancée’s or has any romantic interest in him do you?”

“No I just need to see him a moment.” Really she wanted to take a reading from him but that was not something she was going to explain. ‘That is a good question thought’ she thought ‘that could stop Minako in her tracks’.

“sigh ok follow me” Taeko leads her to the room where Urd is picking herself up and both of them are laying there. Ami pulls out her computer for a scan but her computer is Completely on the fritz suddenly. Urd looks at her and sees who she is. (yes Urd would know Exactly who Ami is) And is about to say something to her when both Ranma and Skuld sit up at once and try and look around the room. Everyone jumps around them except for Ami who sits back to again try and scan and again gets no results. Skuld and Ranma both look at Ami for different reasons. But the first thing that either of them say is Ranma who pushes Urd back a bit (who was “checking him out again”) and says

“Akane? What are you doing here….” Ami looks at him blankly. Skuld looks over at her charge sadly “Ranma this is not Akane this is Sailor Mercury.”

“Ohh Sorry I should have realized it anyway you’re far cuter even if you do look a lot like her”.

Ami starts choking as everyone else in the room other than Urd look at her in awe wondering if she is actually one of the scouts. Ami turns and runs away rapidly.

Ranma much less gloomy than before but still not by any means chipper “I wonder what she is doing right now anyway”

And many many MANY miles away in Sydney sits Akane Tendo alone in a jail cell tied with a straight jacket to keep her under control. She fumes and glows red with her battle aura. This has got to all be her worthless husbands fault forgetting all together that she already got the divorce finalized. It has to be his fault. It can’t possibly be her fault that her new love was unable to take a mallet like Ranma was. And they would not even let her out long enough to go to the funeral it was totally an accident. Damm Ranma anyway. She WOULD escape and make him pay for this and her loves death. Her Aura turns more and more dark as she fumes in her cell……

Wonderbee31 one of the problems of severe depression can be the desire to have someone else take over. Ranma has the unique ability to go MPD without going MPD. He really IS two folks. I think that would have been something that on some level he would have thought about.

dennisud My problems with this are twofold. (not saying that I will not split her off but…) If I separate her from Ranma she WILL go after him. She will know him Exactly and perfectly and be able to take him away from anyone. She would ruin the Nabiki/Ranma pairing I am working for. Second HE would not really be Ranma anymore. The parts we love about him. I am killing part of that anyway so this is a lesser issue. (for example facing his fears did not kill his fear of cats. But it is letting him deal with it a little more).

JohnnyG I have a wonderful woman who has decided to go back and edit my entire piece so I would expect this whole thing to be reloaded and edited By a professional tech writer. I just have to cook for her and be her bed warmer.

Sonic 1 There are several really good ones out here right now. Ravens guardian come to mind so that line is being worked out.
