The Coffee Shop Pirate

It was a busy day at the coffee shop, customers flooded in, noise buzzed and voices mingles with the clinks of white generic coffee mugs. Darting through the mass of people to do countless things, picking up mugs, writing down orders, I couldn't help but, notice one figure near the window.

Dust colored boots sat atop the round small tabletop that was worn and scratched by years of heated cups and the scrapes of trays. The owner of them was casually leaning against the chair's back, a brown hat pulled over closed eyes. Wavy strands of dark hair spilled over the rounded top of the chair's back.

I paused to scrutinize the lone figure, oblivious to the noise, seemingly alone. I turned to take an order. When I looked again the figure was gone.
