Oh god, I finally found the book I wrote the story in, after...a half year? I am going to finish this story and leave it off at that. I don't want to keep thinking that I will sometime get to typing the rest of this and yet later on, not doing so.

Midori

"Only outnumbered by one," Slade answered. "But, I am more than just one."

"Illegally more than one," the voice behind Cornelia cooly replied.

"I got the powers by skill and for a reason. I kill for reason, not rhyme."

"You theif," the voice continued.

Cornelia turned to find that same girl again. How...how had she survived the lava plunge? Was she even a human?

"Down with you," the girl said. She charged at him with a sword.

Cornelia had an idea. She broke down the wall of the building that was to the lava side. Now, she needed to tilt it. Slade could slip off if she did so.

She coudn't control plants, because of her power loss taken by Slade. He was a strange yet strong opponent. She needed someone strong to lift the building.

Starfire.

"Starfire! You mind doing a favor?" she called out.

The Tamaranian came to her a second's time.

"Could you help me tilt this building?"

"It is no problem to worry on," Starfire beamed laser at the base of the building, cutting off its foundation. Then, she dug her fingers underneath it and heaved.

Cornelia began to unearth rocks and toss them underneath. Her earthly powers had only been taken away half way, after all.

The side of the building was raised up to six feet.

"Great Starfire!" Cornelia put her hand in a high five.

Starfire was puzzled.

Cornelia held Starfire's hand and clapped it against her own, in a somewhat of a high five.

Starfire smiled.

"Thanks," Cornelia said, flying up to the top, where the girl and Slade were aggressively fighting.

The girl was at the edge of the building.

Not again!

Cornelia almost felt like rolling her eyes.

The girl shook her head.

It was an act?

The girl now nodded her head.

A mind reader...impressing. The power of mind and thought.

The girl watched for Slade to come closer to her.

Then she lifted her left leg and swung to trip Slade. Her kick let her spin around and got back on the building edge. She caught Slade by the arm, who was falling off.

This time, Slade was the one falling.

"Answer the question," the girl asked. "Where are the powers?"

"Who ever told you I had them?"

The girl frowned and remained motionless.

"I may have them, but I don't ownthem," Slade continued.

"Who has them?" the girl asked again.

"Answers don't always come. You must find them yourself, not find them in someone else. Then he pinched her unexpectedely and her quick reflex had let him go.

She had let go. She had let him fall into the lava. Now there was no use in trying to find the powers if there was no clear pinpoint location where they were.

"That was an act!" Cornelia exclaimed. "He didn't want to tell you!"

"Trigon knows," the girl said calmly.

"But you can't get him to tell."

"Try me."

The girl picked up a pebble and throw it at Trigon.

Trigon muttered a curse and turned to the girl. He blew a stream of fire at her.

The girl backflipped several times.

"You-you made me miss, I never missed before!"

For the first time, the girl's solemn face stretched into a real smile.

"Share the embarassment, or tell me who the keeper of the powers is!" she threatened.

"It's safe in a portal. I am sure that would give you a major narrow down..."

"Give more information!"

This time, Trigon hit her with flames.

"You're not worth it!"

"It's Raven!" the girl exclaimed suddenly. She was on the ground below the building.

"I have to admit it, but you are good," Cyborg said.

"It's a talent that you don't want to mess with," the girl said jokingly.

"You think you'll need help finding Raven?" Cornelia flew down to the girl.

"I could do this alone. But thank you," she answered. "Just take care of Trigon."

The girl ran off to search for Raven.

She passed by a cave entracne. The entrance was pretty small. There was a chance that Raven might have been hiding in there.

The girl climbed into the hole and stepped into the tunnel.

She soon reached shallow water

The girl could tell that it was treaded before. The water was clouded with dirt. If no one had passed through, the water would have been clear since the mud would have settled at the bottom.

Someone was treading here before her.

The girl tried not to make any sloshing but it wasn't any use; she had to drag her feet out of the soggy mud.

The girl kep following the water, until she hearda flow of water. She turned to the left, following the sound and soon ended up at an average sized waterfall. That was the end of the cave.

The girl approached the waterfall and went through the water.

And Raven was in it.

Raven had her back turned to the girl.

The girl stepped closer to Raven.

At the sound of her foot, Raven said, "I can't help you. Now go."

"Yes you can. You know where the powers are."

"I'm not the only portal."

The girl thought about this. "You can help us."

"No,"

"Raven, I'm your friend. Trust me."

"There's no one to trust when you know the end is coming."

"Come then."

"No."

"Raven, you're our only hope."

"No." Raven sounded a bit annoyed.

"We need you."

"Can you listen to me? I said no."

"Yes."

"No,"

"No?"

"Yes."

"Come on!" the girl said.

Raven realized that she was tricked. She followed along with the girl.

The approached the others.

"What's the other portal?" the girl asked.

"Will."

"It's all in her?"

"Not her, herself."

""Got you," the girl said, going after Will.

"What now, captain?" Will asked the girl.

"Bring out the Candracar heart."

"Okay," Will extended her hand and a glowing orb appeared.

"Let the missing powers out."

"Huh?"

"Listen, it's in there!"

"How?"

"Break it."

"What?"

"Break it."

Will shakily took hold of the orb. "Are you sure about this?"

"Positive."

"Should I even trust you?"

The girl became desperate. "Really."

Will grasped the orb and closed her eyes as she dropped it onto the ground. Sure enough, balls of energy flowed out and hit each of the Guardians, restoring their lost power.

"Raven, it's your turn now," the girl said.

Raven nodded and rose to the sky, so she was faced with her father. She began to attack.

"Aren't you supposed to be Daddy's little girl?" Trigon asked.

"You are not my father!"

"Of course I am. A daughter listens to her father."

"A father raises a daughter! He trains his child! I was trained by the monks of Azarath! I was raised by my friends! They are my family! You are not! You are not welcome here!"

"You can't stop me. Remember that you are the one who brought me here."

"I'm not only a portal to bring you here! I'm a portal that can force you back out. That was your mistake! A door lets people in andout!" Raven recited a chant and with physic powers, pushed Trigon back down into his lava.

It really was the end.

"Now, what did happen to our plane?" someone called out.

The girl looked into the sky. "It made a loop." The girl jumped up and got into the plane, everyone else following behind.

Well finally I'm done typing. I guess a few more chapters to go.
