Akira has a strange notion that pink suits him.

Perhaps. In greys and blues it seems he could give a handicap to an iceberg, and then beat it by melting a hole through with sheer excellence.

Icebergs aren't fun to play with, though.

Some people are. In other time and place he will grow up to wear canary-yellow and gloves, and blood will tinge his hair purple. Perhaps not.

But now his shirt is pink with cherries blossoming into blizzard under the radiance of Shindou's smile; and he wants to hold onto this moment - only to go much, much further.
