“Pathetic... Utterly pathetic.” He sighed. It was just his luck to have trained on a cloudy day. Now, it was a downpour. He stared at her. She lay on his bed, face red and wet. She gave him the pleasure to take care of her once she caught a slight fever. He constantly wiped a cold towel across her forehead. He placed the damp towel next to her forehead protector, which lay next to the futon.

“Having fun?” She asked weakly, but tried her best to sound playful. He scoffed at her question. She laughed. “Sorry... I didn't mean to-”

He hushed her. He told her to close her eyes and sleep. She smiled and obeyed. He got up to leave her in peace. He turned but stopped when he felt something caught his wrist.

“...Stay?”

He asked why.

“Do I really need a reason?”

He sighed and sat back down next to her. She grinned, and allowed herself to sleep. He stayed with her. He knew that he could've just left after she fell asleep, but he didn't. His pale eyes stared at her, blankly. Her brown hair was still tied into a bun, but several locks were randomly placed on her head. Her face slowly turned back to normal, it wasn't red anymore, and she stopped sweating.

“Honestly...” he said softly, he helped her brush a few locks away from her face. Her face was warm and her lips seemed to be slightly moving. Does she talk in her sleep? He thought for a moment. He admit, it was amusing. He smirked.

He bent down, until his lips touched her forehead. He sat up straight and leaned back, his arms supporting him. He smirked.

He was right, he was pathetic. Utterly pathetic.
