Last of three, finally

Apologies to everyone, and MegaMan times three.

The poem on the wall wasn't half as gruesome as last time, and MegaMan had volunteered to take him to the compactor. What ProtoMan didn't know was that MegaMan had taken him down to the lab, and ordered them to fix Shadow...but leave his programming intact. The least he could do for his friend was to keep him alive, to use his life however he liked.

Friends do that for their friends.

Lastly, immediatly after repairs, Shadow had been put in a stasis pod.

The green liquid filled up in the chamber as MegaMan walked away. He had no time to dwell; Sigma was on the attack again.

He stopped and looked over at his shoulder at the hibernating Shadow.

Goodnight. See you in a hundred and ten years.
