Syrup
"Hmmm. Waffles!" Sirius groans as he shoves a whole waffle cover in sticky syrup in his mouth.
"Pads, there is definitely something wrong with you, you know that?" James shakes his head mournfully. Lily chooses that moment to slide into the seat next to him. Frances, her best friend, sits in between Remus and Sirius.
"Remus, why aren't you eating?" Frances asks politely.
"I don't like waffles; they're too sticky." Remus replies absently.
Frances leans forward dipping her finger in the syrup. "Too sticky? Too gooey? And Thick?" She asks her voice dropping to husky whisper. Remus jerks his head up and looks at her. She runs her sticky finger over his lips and pushes it into his mouth.
By this point, everyone is looking at the two. Remus is now sucking on Frances' finger, while looking her in the eye. She smirks and removes her finger from his mouth. She stands and drags him up with her. Grabbing the container of syrup, she pulls Remus out of the Hall.
James and Sirius have a very hard time keeping at straight face. Lily grins. Sirius' girlfriend, Jen, comes up behind him and turns him so she can sit in his lap. "What happened to Frances and Remus?" She asks innocently.
In fits of hilarity, they tell her. She grins and follows Frances' example. Lily looks at James and shrugs. Grabbing the last container of syrup on the table, they follow their friends out of the Hall.
By lunch, all six of them were on the biggest sugar high of their lives. Who knew syrup was so potent?
